Finally got around to fitting the rear ARB, pig of a job with the engine in!
Darren managed to get the pipework made up, just tacked for now, will get the guy at TTS who can weld to finish it up…
Took delivery of the Motec ecu and PDM today too, things are progressing nicely.
I note on your air intake pipe from the roof carbon piece to the rotrex unit it was gold coated ( some sort of thermal wrap? ) but not it looks like some other coating? What have you used?
Its just been stripped back, both pipes will be refinished so they match, probably rewrapped in gold again.

All the bits back off the car to go off for Xylan coating or anodising, plus with thanks to seriously lotus for putting in a special order for a litebox battery, only weighs 2kg!
2kg? Thats ridiculously light. How long will it be before batteries actually decrease your car weight?

Darren just casually knocking uo billet exhaust hangers and a new oil filter take off, plus the striker pins on the toll cage have never worked properly never aligned very well so a new design for those…
