Thank you Pete! There’s a lot going on in that exhaust you can’t see.
I think Yamaha built a great big bike engine - plenty horsepower, crap torque - but as you can see, there’s ways around that.
John’s got a more than decent return on his investment - plenty time for more R&D next year.
Going to be an interesting track weapon!
Cheers fellas, this is mega, I’m well and truly chuffed. To answer an earlier double barrelled question…enough and a lot.
The head was polished and ported (I had a go) but I think Steve at Track Club said he tidied what I’d done and port matched it to the inlet manifold as well as being reskimmed after I’d scratched it.

Question for Track-Group. Why did you delete Mick’s complimentary remark on my manifold design?

Someone did? I’m not the only one who noticed but meh - please yourself.
More work completed at Track Group. Slight issue with the throttle body housing situated to close to the bulk head so Mick and Steve have turned it this way up and made a funtional guide which works well. Oddly it looks pretty cool IMO, what do you reckon?
