NA Build....

Isn’t there a US guy that does the hinged clam kits?

BEO Fabrications, didn’t N17VES used to have one prior to his GT3 conversion?

231bhp @ 8500rpm

I suppose also a lot has to be said for the Elise Parts ECU!

That is an amazing increase for a N/A engine. It is going to be a fast little beastie with your power to rate.

I was wondering why you went for all those quick release catches on the clams jonny, but with that power increase you may find yourself under the bodywork pretty often

Excellent result JF, well done!

What will your power to weight be?

Hey Bruce, it is 231bhp/800kg = 289? I’m not too sure feel free to correct me.

Tim, glass half full mate

Thanks ,will have a look .
What work has been done to your engine and what sort of cost ?

Excellent!

You have built a nice track day weapon there

Very impressive Jonny

Well done Jonny and Track Group, you gotta be happy with that result :sunglasses:

Indeedy. :sunglasses:

Love that increase in low down torque and it looks very linear compared to the std curve, that should make a huge difference. I guess it took a lot of mapping work to get that so consistent.

luckily for Jonny we did a lot of this as development, it’s had the best part of 7 solid days of mapping. We built in cost for a day but the development has been allocated to developing the cable throttle mapping and ECU.

It’s a decent result with an NA engine especially with standard valve sizes and no head work.

More torque lower down is achievable at the expense of headline numbers but we need to get it on track now and see how it goes and refine from there.

Well done guys!

Looking forward to seeing it back it car now.

Great result, looking forward to seeing it in action. Torque looks like a great result, and you can’t argue with nearly 290bhp/ton.
A 260 cup would need to get under 900kg to match that.

oooo, look at that torque curve - wouldn’t get that with a 4 into 1

Great result guys!!!

That is going to be a serious piece of kit around the track…

I am wondering why you did not have any head work done? Is the Toyota head that good ‘out the box’? Clearly so… but surely big valves and flowing would have let a lot more horses free???

Jim, love the white hot headers!!! :sunglasses:
