This was back in Jan …

Progress is likely to be stifled somewhat over the next few weeks. I did myself an injury and have torn bits if my knee that yoir not supposed to.

Waiting for swelling to go down the off to get more scans.

I have zoomed in twice to validate that my testicles are not in shot.

Please stop trying to see my testicles now I have mentioned it

you tease!

that floor looks great though.

You should have seen what I used to apply the floor goo!

Not the cat Andy?

This is the backside ( street side ) of the barn at night. I quite like it tbh

One more to go.

Can confirm with was fun with a torn ACL and LCL [image]

Both sides completed.

Been a while since I have updated this thread but progress has been ongoing despite a major injury setback.

Vertical blinds begone!

You would not believe how much more heat is kept in by these curtains!

Next we had a problem with a shower in our en-suite. It wasnt getting warm and the pressure was dire. I had to find the water isolation points then took apart the shower and cleaned up the thermostatic valve

We now have hot water with decent pressure. I have to take apart another one in another bathroom soon as thats slow as well. However its a spare room so its not on the priority list.

Next up prior to carpets being refitted in most of the upstairs I sanded down and stained a couple of steps.

Beautiful work

Patio area with furniture …

It appears to be the case now of the showers are in use and we are in a really hard water area.

I have stripped apart two showers now with thermostatic valves and noted the hot water area has a massive calcium build up and cleared them out.

This one I used limescale remover to clean the valve with a great result

This bathroom I had to strip the shower off the wall and clean the filters.

Both now are working as expected.

Good effort!
