Is this software Mac compatible or PC only ?
Is it tuned in real time through the OBD port and are cables providied ?
05 Elise with wideband control…dual maps for high and low octane [100-91] and knock control…875cc. Siemans injectors, 36 psi. boost…is what I have currently…
I have a TRD tuner buddy that would like to have a look at the unit, since he’s very familar with the supercharged 2ZZ engine and most aftermarket ECU’s…
This could be a good thing all around…
Deposit, do you really think I need to steal an ECU from a member of Exiges ?
Demo stock ???.. Dude if it works it’s sold, I want the good stuff…
After all this I have to wait ???
OK…fine… If you have a high output SC tune load it so it will have a solid base tune to start with will make things easier and we can take it from there…
I’m in the same boat as everyone else when it comes to the ECU, I can’t reflash my own ECU without a special connector that I lent out to Charlie and now Charlie is off the grid and only he knows why…
Essex and VF Superchargers are the only two places on the planet that can make adjustments to my ECU… They are great friends but they are also thousands of miles away and with their very busy workload getting someone out to make some minor changes cost far more than your ECU solution…
I really hope this ECU does the job you say it can and soon…I have a PC waiting
It’s not available yet, I’ll try and post a pic of the final prototype which will be signed off for 06 model year NA cars tomorrow. The next versions will then be going on 09 model year NA and 06, 07, 08 & 09 model year SC cars, 2-Eleven, Elise SC etc, each one will be signed off in turn and then released.
A different version ECU for every model year? that’s going to be interesting to manage.
Seriously, if 6 digits has been spent on developing this stuff then I would have just paid a hacker $50,000 to come up with a software solution for all ECU’s.
That said, when the Evora V6 gets dropped into the back on my Exige the ECU could become handy.

[/quote] Uhhh what about 05 cable throttle ?
I’ve allready told a few guys here about the new ECU and if it works on my car they want it also…next day air…

minor loom adapter required for cable cars, there aren’t many cable cars in UK, most went to States, we’re testing a cable NA car and cable Turbo’d car early Feb
I have another guy waiting to see if this is a plug and play unit that will work…
all 04/05 UK/US cars are cable throttle… Track guys here are switching over to cable…
Come on Stephen don’t let me down now… Cable first, screw the drive by wire guys…I’m back on the dyno Feb 5…
I think there is a quite a few cable cars in the UK, certainly enough 111R’s and NA Exiges to make it worth while. Early models are attractive for folk to buy cheap and slap on a supercharger rather than paying 45k notes for 260bhp from Lotus

Well the thing is Charlie X who cracked the ecu and lives in Vegas has desided to go off the grid for no reason I know of…Weird computer geeks I’m told do this from time to time and I haven’t had any contact with my exfriend since last May, he is alive and well I’m told but just doesn’t care about cars anymore…Too fuccckin wierd…
So now there are only two sources for a real time tune, Essex in the UK and VF Superchargers in the US…
My buddy Jermaine of VF is coming out from the east coast on Feb 4th to finish up my tune due to the bad wastegate and turbo…595 BHP is not the limit…
I really hope the Elise Parts ECU really works because if not the Lotus tuning world is over since Essex and VF do not own the CharlieX tuning software they just lease it…
I can’t keep flyin Jermaine out and rent a dyno every time I wanna do something…
If Stephen comes through he will be my new best friend…
After seeing their premises and personally dealing with Stephen for some work to my car yesterday I dont doubt for a minute Stephen will be able to deliver the goods. Top bloke.
