Emerald ECU for Toyota!

He truly does, one in a million man :sunglasses:

However I would say that in “business” I have never ever given a free product away nor will I ever give a free product away. It’s as much as a gamble either way…

But I need a new fire! and think how many you would sell if everyone knew I had one!

Well just for you lol

I’ll have the one like my mums got, I like that one

I never said give it to me for free, I said send me one and if it works as stated I’ll buy it…Free was never mentioned…

No no I understand that sorry that was not what I meant but either way it leaves my factory after you pay.

Then in this situation an unproven product stays on the shelf and the world knows that you don’t have the faith in your unproven product to back up your claims of superiority over the proven competition…

Simple fact you now have inventory on hand instead of sales…but the competition continues to gain a better hold of the market showing that it can power a 600 bhp 2ZZ all the while the new kid just talks…and internet heros like myself will continue to say prove your products worth in the real world…

I don’t need it but I sure will talk about it now and how when asked to see it perform all I got was shiet in response…

Product placement ever hear about the concept ?

In terms of what I do and not to turn two peoples opinions into anything more than that, the road I chose to go down has proven very successful for me. More so I would imagine then setting a president of offering initially free, free or heavily discounted product for placement, certainly as a small to medium size business. Not to say I do not see your point as an individual case, but even so Ive heard these promises (in what I do, in my industry) all before and I find it a tough pill to swallow. I honestly must get a call every month or two for the household product I manufacture from various TV shows and production companies and it just doesnt happen. And with respect there is always the man who can. I have the faith, a proven track record and industrial recognition for what I manufacture and the majority of my customers have faith and belief in what I sell. If you buy and get something good out of it youll feel satisfaction and quite possibly VFM. I dont think you get that same feeling if youve paid nothing for it or nothing for at that time. And obviously it works both ways as a good or bad investment.

Edit to say it’s all matter of opinion anyway.

So can I have a free fire or not then?

Trade

Next time I see you I will assist in setting you on fire! is that what you meant?

Dude I never asked for a free anything you keep missing that fact…

This is a totally unproven product…

You should all be asking to see its results in the real world…So far it’s all hype [I’m being polite]…

^^^ ^^^

“This is a totally unproven product from a supplier that has made false claims in its ability to tune the OEM ECU in the past…FACT”

Been at Autosport for a few days so missed a bit of this, who is this comment aimed at? I’ve never made any falso claims to tune the OEM ECU?

Yeah Jonny, give me a free fire, or I’m gonna set my rug alight!!!

Since when have you worn a wig?

I wrote initially free in reference, I got the fact you don’t want it for free. But you’d stated if it wasn’t try before you buy “the world” would know that he has no faith in his unproven product. Stephen did offer for you to purchase and if you were not satisfied he’d offered to refund you and buy you a beer…I felt that was a fair offer Frank.

I’ll edit my old post.

I don’t run a tuning business - I run a race team, we also do development work for other people which is where the ECU comes in. I am however getting tempted to send you an ECU just to prove a point - I’ll want a refundable deposit against it’s safe return however!
