Another Winter Build Project

I would rather drill and tap the flat on the rear of the caliper for the banjo fitting (as they should be) and fit two bleed nipples in the top postions.

This is how I have always set up the twin pots. Makes life much easier.

Dan

All the 2 pots have the AP Racing logo on the inside, they only have LOTUS on the outside.

Dan

Banjo bolts with bleed nipples. That is inspired!!!

Every days a school day  just looked at my other set and they are the same. I’m suitably educated now!

Its always good to find a good quality nipple…!

I heard the same thing Dan, minimum of five orders. I spoke to EA back when I was first looking for a cage but they also had none in as I usually get my honda bits from them so and have always had great service from them. (I need to get a couple of mount from them…)

Latest cage update is that Hotlap now won’t certify me a cage, so there is no point in progressing that further. So I’m back with a CDS safety devices cage (it will be with me next week). I also know there is something going on at MSA level regarding cage certifications and also potentially Mira testing of designs and no exceptions under Appendix J/K with everything needing FIA approval etc. I’m hoping by jumping on a common cage design will mean a load of people will be in the same position and its not an obsolete item before its even fitted!

Hmmm…pedal box with a proper bias bar. Don’t think there will be any flex (have a close look at the photo)!

Rebuild standards are slipping, look at the state of that bolt!

Not to mention the massive length odf the bolts holding the cylinders on, also that rusty spring and bracket… :unamused:

Who did the bias build?

No idea, but looks just like ours. But dirtyier

you got a S2 one?

Do you have two S2 ones?

Have one for an S2, but only for a K series as they are the same as an S1.

Am sure could work out something for an Toyota powered car, or Pilbeam sell one off the shelf.

Yes they do BUT will it fit???

handy, I have an early S2 with no ABS or servo! So your one on christian’s car?

^ Certainly is. And a few others. You don’t have to have the AP cylinder for the clutch if you’re happy with the feel of it, and the plumbing is little excessive for standard cars to be fair!

To save hijacking a thread…

That’s because its a northern version!

Haha!! At least the throttle cable mount will be clean and shiney when you fit it!!

Cheers, I did wonder whether you’d worked out is was me!

Don’t worry about the hijacking lark. Its nice to get replies as often the only indication people do read this it is the number of views listed has gone up!
