I would rather drill and tap the flat on the rear of the caliper for the banjo fitting (as they should be) and fit two bleed nipples in the top postions.
This is how I have always set up the twin pots. Makes life much easier.
I heard the same thing Dan, minimum of five orders. I spoke to EA back when I was first looking for a cage but they also had none in as I usually get my honda bits from them so and have always had great service from them. (I need to get a couple of mount from them…)
Latest cage update is that Hotlap now won’t certify me a cage, so there is no point in progressing that further. So I’m back with a CDS safety devices cage (it will be with me next week). I also know there is something going on at MSA level regarding cage certifications and also potentially Mira testing of designs and no exceptions under Appendix J/K with everything needing FIA approval etc. I’m hoping by jumping on a common cage design will mean a load of people will be in the same position and its not an obsolete item before its even fitted!
^ Certainly is. And a few others. You don’t have to have the AP cylinder for the clutch if you’re happy with the feel of it, and the plumbing is little excessive for standard cars to be fair!
Don’t worry about the hijacking lark. Its nice to get replies as often the only indication people do read this it is the number of views listed has gone up!
