Wow! And I thought I’d got the most out the weekend!! Good call.
To echo others here, cheers to the organisers, the guys who put their head above the parapet, without those guys…
We had a great time, thanks to everyone involved. Some awesome cars, great company and wonderful driving out there. Here’s to the next one, can’t wait.
Great day guys. Good to see everyone again. Car ran pretty much faultlessly on it first proper outing as such. Very much looking forward to the next day now, so let’s not make it too far away!
A bit late sorry, got home 9ish and had friends up from Brighton from early on yesterday… Lol we thoroughly enjoyed the Gary Barlow concert thanks
Not as much it has to be said as Friday, thanks Rob, Ben & Jonny for organising a great day. Thanks also to John Shorrocks for sorting my car early doors, appreciate that again mate. And absolutely fantastic spending the day with a great bunch of people. My first time back at Anglesey in maybe three years, driving anyway. Had some tuition from Stuart early on and spent the morning getting to know my car, first time I’ve used it properly as always shaking down last year (mostly wet and brief) and at Donny last month. I love it, the power is so useable and the car is really quite nimble. I’ve got some video I took straight after lunch following Ben & Ian, lol I totally forgot the track had changed and some more with Graeme, lots of us out there in the footage. Once again great day everyone, really enjoyed catching up and a big shame to Mark and Ade and any others who found themselves off early, some other time fellas I’m sure.
Come on then Mark, is that our last lardy run of the day…
So much to post when I have more time… Home safe and like Will I’m still grinning
Had a quick look at the vid Jonny I had front/rear cameras on, that’s why Ian and I are hammering around BTCC stylie … apart from due to user error the front camera was not running …doh!
Pics/vids etc will be up when I have some time…epic couple of days!
Thanks for a great day guys, usual great track action with little drama.
Apologies for the man made clouds I was producing due to my exhaust manifold failing. It caused a lack of boost response with consequent smoke production with significant power loss. It was getting slowly worse throughout the day which led me to keep my track time to a minimum. But still had a right laugh in a car that just wanted to over steer everywhere.
Great day… one of the best Exiges days I can remember… not only the day itself but a couple of really enjoyable evenings spent in good company too…
My car ran great all day, but is in need of a bit more setup time and time with the lines and poles to get the Geo better… my first 5 or so laps were absolutely awful as I couldn’t remember how to drive properly!
It’s a great little community this… lets get out again soon - need to use the car more this year!
oops! I knew it was bad because a lot of the cars I passed suddenly became invisible in the rear view mirror after changing into 4th because the boost took so long to come on again!
Would not mind spending time getting my geo better also, I spent all day fighting a car that handled like a dog with worms after increasing my spring rates and adding half a degree more front camber, I never actually spun but i got to some quite incredible angles and had a right laugh.
