The reason I ask for the dyno charts is so that I can compare torque maps and A/F ratios…as you now I built my own system and have been sharing any and all info as to tune and construction on www.moremonkey.com I don’t care who is faster that’s for as you guys say, muppets…
sorry to hear that you live in such a controled state it’s gotta be tough…is there sand in Switzerland ?
is there sand in Switzerland ?
Frank - its on the options list from Bemani
So I assume you guys will belive any crap you’re told without question ? What a very noble German/Swiss thing to do…
If that were the case they would believe your crap.
First off I’m not selling anything fool so keep your blind faith in the superior Swiss govt. dyno sheets…BS…Oh wait they don’t exist or you would have posted it by now…you can ask around on Elise Talk or Moremonkey as to how well my “crap” runs…so defensive why? Did you buy one? Oh wait I’m so sorry I asked if there was any proof of power…now did you know that the Bemani guys can retune on the fly by pluging into the OBD11 port, here in the very loose US of A…I don’t think they could do that legaly…software copy rights and all…so much for Govt. controls…
I do not have a bemani so i have no vested interest in this thread. I was simply stating that if people believe anything then they would believe you…which evidently nobody does.
Anyway, carry on, your doing a better job of making a fool of yourself than i ever could.
Blow[er] Me…
I find strange too that with over 100+ Lotus done there were not on the net 1 single independent dyno test done, is there a part of the Bemani’s accord where is written that if you wiil do a dyno of the car by yourself they came by night to your house and kills you by a bath of very hot liquid chocolate?
Another question: i see pictures of the Bemanized cars with holes drilled in the chassy to let some tubes pass from the front of the car to the rear, can these holes weak the structure?
How may holes are done? and where?
Picture of them?
Swiss + holes [no dyno sheets] = Cheese?

If I am to guess as to why: None of the 100+ Bemani owners feel as insecure about their kit to the point they would want to have their car dynod… ;o) I certainly don’t feel the need.
Seriously people, read the above. No need to get the ball rolling again.
Shhhhis don’t ask questions, the all powerfull Swiss department of motor vehicles maybe reading…and it’s so hard to clean all that chocolate from the carpet…
Now don’t you wonder just a little bit if you got what you paid for now?
Actually I don’t have to wonder, because I know for a fact that I did get what I paid for. That being 0-62 in just around 4 seconds and 0-100 in low 9s. I’m more than happy. No dyno plot is going to change that. The satisfaction of being able to drive the car as it is, means more to me than any dyno could care to prove. Clearly, that goes beyond your understanding.
Cheers Phil
Those numbers do seem quick, not entirely sure it can pull those off on the S2 Exige considering it’s weight and modest hp.
In the day and age of GPS with fast sample times, aren’t rolling roads abit redundent for this stand-off. Surely some in gear speed/time graphs would be a bit more interesting ?
Should be possible to calculate rolling resistance/drag/gearbox losses too, infact anything the rolling road boys can do, but actually give more interesting results, especially down a steep down hill road !
Now to find out which of my mates has got a gps that I can use to check those times…
I have a full data logger you could pop by and test your car any time

Jason, the car has been reviewed (independantly) with similar figues. Mine is doing a little more in terms of power thanks to some mods and a bit of weight reduction, so I’m not surprised about the figures I got.
Cheers Phil

Well then post your time slip or your independent dyno sheets…Oh wait I’m sure they’re buried in that Swiss sand…Better yet why not have your friends at Bemani join in and set the facts stright…
My nature is for “trust no one”
My fortune is that i’ve a friend mecca with a dyno ready to use, we have discovered several prepared Lotus that are lemons…
I think that Bemani is the better solution to get hp from the yota but if a day i’d move to fit it the second thing that i’ll do is an independent dyno, but i’ll be happy even with 230 hp.
The thing that is stopped me is the holes in the chassy, the Bemani owners can done some pictures of the front of the chassy in the suspension attach?
Take a peek over at www.moremonkey.com and see what I and at least 20 outhers have done so far with superchargers…
We can retune the 05 and 06 Lotus EFI ECUs with custom tune for the application…CAI, Headders, cat-decat, supercharger/turbocharger…“S”/“240” whatever…this is no Bull…

Certainly a valid concern, though from what I have seen (first hand) and heard by various Lotus dealers overhere (who also distribut the kit), it’s a non-issue. Besides, AFAIK, the new GT3 by Lotus that is charge-cooled has similar modifications to the chassis…
On the concern of dyno - which is also a valid one. If the car would not have the performance that it does and was tested by magazines (which can be messured quite easy without finding a dyno), I would consider putting my car on a dyno. Given that it runs spotless, I don’t see the need just yet. If I had the possibility to get it tested quite easily, I probably would though.
Ahh there is nothing like Swiss sand to rest your head in…
check this out…and don’t say you can’t buy it…

So also the Gt3 maden by Lotus to race gets holes to pass tubes?
You get a Bemanized so let’s see us pictures of them please.

ahh finally a man brave enough to post a dyno of a Bemani car… read em and weep 201rwhp 146ftlb…what a joke…
