I was quoted 350 plus vat to coat a Elise parts manifold and a de-cat pipe. Drove from East Northants to Oxford and when I got there the price had gone up. We’ll just have to see if it’s worth it when it’s done.
I need smaller rear view mirrors!!!
Yup Marc, you can certainly pedal that one!!!
It is amazing what good a job it does. Would certainly recommend it, and it looks cool too!
Got my Eliseparts manifold back from Zircotec the other day, for anyone that’s interested it cost a total of 354 inc VAT delivered and it added 694g to the weight.
I also got a quote from [color:#000099]WoofClicky before going to Zircotec, for whatever reason Woof’s quote was almost double excluding the VAT and delivery!!
What colour did you get yours done???
That’s an S2 owner’s question, surely?
Sorry, did you get it done in white? Mine was done in black so it that it won’t show any dirt and they charged me 508.
Mine was done in white…
Mine was done in white…
I’ve never been the best at getting a good deal!
Bringing back this thread!
How worthwhile do people think this is? Quoted 269 plus vat for my scuffers manifold in the primary black, 384+ for the performance white.

I won’t run a manifold without it now, it keeps the boot so much cooler
Yea as I want to go SC down the line, I think a little preemptive heat management might be a good idea!
Primary Black or Performance white??? Hmmmm…
T
I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I’d have to go white
not chrome???
Topical, just had these delivered this week. Very nicely done. Won’t be going back to wrapping a manifold any time soon
That is gorgeous
Very nice … and expensive !!
Just wondering tho what are the benefits ?
I get that the surrounding clams are cooler etc,but is there anything else ?
Just curious…
No idea myself, it was all about heat management to me which is why I had it done
Oh shoooot … just realised this is an S1 thread and Dad will be along soon to tell us to #@@k off !
Ah! My latest El Gordo 4-1 - stepped 2" header into a 3" SDCP + system - thank you Will! Look at the size of that SDCP - got a job to do though.
Just need the 3-chambered system to go with them - folding ma heid at the moment that one.
