I have been toying with this idea for sometime now. How about all those people who own or have owned an S1 Exige take a series of photos of their car, say one front, one side and one rear and then aone from any angle they best think. Then we collate them somewhere, maybe a photo hosting site? What we do then is have them all printed up in a book with a small narrative about the car and the owner. We then each get a copy of a peice of history.
I have to date over 60 seperate pics of S1 Exiges from various gatherings around the Uk track scene and club shows but was hoping to get more. Plus i don’t really want to get them all together in a print form without the owners permission.
I know this is probably a mammoth task in the making but i reckon with all the connections in our little gathering of like minded lotus nuts we can pull it off.
What do you think? Admin5 (Dave) and the stalwarts of the forumn please let me know. Many thanks in anticipation guys.

More than happy for mine to be used… although as of the weekend I now no longer own an actual Exige, more and Exige-shaped paperweight… hopefully it’ll actually be a car again come next summer
Hi, I’d be happy for my Exige to be used. If you wanted you could even have my Sport Elise too to show how the Exige came into being a roadcar.

I’ve been seriously considering putting myself up as official registrar for S1 Exige. I think there are enough people on here who know my credentials to know that I am in a good position to do this but I’m happy if you want to do it. I have good relations with a number of printers too so if the data is to be published in book form I could arrange it.
I do think that the S1 Exige will be much sought after in the future (even more so than now) so it is important that we start to track these cars now so that history cannot confuse the facts in later years. (This is a perenial problem in the old car business and the lack of accurate early records is usually the problem)
Anyway, I’m up for it.
