Hi guys,
I’ve now got some garage space! Woohoo! So the wee beastie doesn’t have to sit out in the cold on these winter nights
So was also gonna get some ramps (was never practical on a drive way) and was looking at the halfrauds ones here:
http://www.halfords.com/opd_product_details.asp?id=19538&type=0&cat=64
But it says suitable for tyre size up to 185 x 14"… Which is too small.
However with the car being so light and all could you get away with it???
OK, folks in Elise’s have used them with 225’s no worries… Now can you reverse up them without mangling the splitter?

I do with an Edwards Splitter on as well …
Mark I can get mine up on my ramps okay - so wouldnt have thought there would be any probs…
Cheers guys, yep got up then no worries, not a lot of clearance at the front but enough
It’s all because it now has a nice new home here:

Hardy har har har
There is a roof and I need to give it a sweep up and tidy but as you can see a bench vice, drill and grinders plus an air compressor I think
Just off to change the oil now
Just noticed - what has happened to your wheels?
Is your garage in Liverpool???

All part of the standard issue, Lotus ‘percussion maintainance’ tool kit.

First off I must say… You’re all a bunch of b@stards!
Anyway, this is a better view (just a much worse piccy!):

As you can see it can watch TeeeeeeeeeVeeeeeeeee on the cold winter evenings, maybe eating some popcorn and other junk food!
But I need to get a bit of time to clear it all out, sweep up the floor, move all the boxes and TV and stuff to one side, then will have plenty of roon
So how hard is it to remove the rear clam? Really a 2 person job right?

I meant how wide are you, not the garage…
LOL! D’oh!
Well I think Rox is referring to my unfortunante living location, Essex, ergo making me a “wide boy”
However I’m physically not wide at all (a meer 10.5 stone )… And do have anti chav tendancies! But it’s a label you get used to living in Essex, anywhere in the world the Essex jokes start to fly!
Nothing wrong with coming from Essex!!!
Nice garage BTW, you can sit in the car and watch TV, saves on having a lounge.
