As I’ve said before they look the dogs !
Any idea of cost yet ?
MADDOG is the carbon fibre king… maybe he can help ?
Any update on this?
I nearly fell of my chair when I worked out how much Yvo’s set was.
I’m sure they are great quality, and expensive to do, but 150 + for a bit of dash is hard to stomach.
I’m not saying thry are cheap but there is a 35 euro credit if you return the old panel

Well after all this time it looks like a no go on my ones…to explain …I have 3 panels done and I’ll be keeping one then getting rid of two,but the problems getting these done was just ridiculous…cost wise for the small dash panel of Yvo …yes seems expensive but seeing as he asked me where to get them painted and I know the painting alone for those panels was approx 20 plus postage plus vat, then you have the actual cost of the panel for the small ones 45 plus post and vat again I think, then of course you have the actual work to be done …so you can see where the cost starts building up…as for the larger ones I’ve done …lets see 30 plus vat plus post for the painting, the panels, 2 second hand ones 1 new average cost for the 3 was approx 60 plus post on them all, specialist glue 38, 350 for the gauge part to be copied, 35 for each casting of the 3 I have had done, cutting tools and incidentals approx 25, takes me possibly 4 hours if Im lucky to get each panel done, this includes sanding off the old senotex cutting in the new cast panel glueing then sanding down then re-glue where necesary and re-sand and so on till I consider it good enough, of course these costs dont include phone calls, trips to see dif companies and plus a panel completely fukced by an outside contracted company and various other things to numerous and boring to mention. All in all I’ve wasted not weeks but months and months on this, believe me if you want to lay out 10 to 20k you can get them done but to keep the cost down and on a budget I can’t see it happening.Hope that gives some sort of idea as to why the costs on getting something like this done may seem high.
I do now have a finished one of these if anyone is interested.Only 3 made , 1 in the car now and two spares, they can go if someone wants one, so make an offer but a realistic one otherwise they will stay as spares gathering dust.
Having just got 82 for the priviledge of somebody taking my old shed away, I say slap them on eBay.
