When life kicks you in the nuts

Sometimes you have to give it the two fingered salute!
May I present my new toy.

And the boys on tour!

Ex management car, all the packs, reversing camera, homelink, folding wing mirrors and hid headlights.

Not an Exige but fantastic all the same. Unfortunateley it arrived a few days too late to make the lakes run!

Gav

Cool! Love the colour!

Good on ya!

So… what has life done to your nuts eh??? Must have been fairly serious!

I know that because I bought my second Exige S1 because life had almost cut my nuts off!!!

Not literally I hope!

Been deaf for 2 years with no diagnosis, so told to get use to it, have a hearing aid etc but now pretty much sorted by shear luck.
Works/business been horrendous for two years and will be sorted soon, just don’t know which way it will go though. Working on plans B & C as we speak.
Now single after 7 years, but have a cracking lad who is an adrenalin junkie already at 19 months old!
Back at parents for now (at 41!) so Evora in the drive!

I feel great though!

I had never seen an Evora in the flesh other than a silver one but the Laser Blue does suit it well. Just got to keep the cream leather clean!

Gav

Blooming hell … did the woman make you deaf ??

No but it did come in handy with the screaming child when he was younger!

Bloody hell Gav you dont do things by half mate.

Great looking mota.

Be good to catch up at the Xmas lakes meet.

Gav I don’t know where to start with the commiserations and congratulations - nice car & welcome to the Exiges.com Evora club

Sorry to learn of all your personal issues, however you have found a great way to celebrate getting/feeling better.

There will be a meet in the Lakes for the VSCC trials in November, plus a catch up at Christmas, hopefully see you at one or both of those. Take care fella

Great colour and very nice interior

Lovely car, Gav :sunglasses:

PM sent

Hope everything works out for you and goes in a better direction soon, be good to catch up at Easter next year if you can make it?

Gav, car looks even better in the pics than on the website. Glad to here your feeling better.
We need to get that night round blackpool sorted, will be like the good old days!

the more I see the evora the more it grows on me!

well done on seeing the ups as well as the downs!

Well, my life has kicked me in the nuts big time this year!

Here is ‘Shrek’! My outlet for all my sh1t!!!

Some of you now know that I am no longer flying as I was medically grounded earlier in the year… 30 years of flying ended out of the blue…

A good excuse for a GREEN S1 I thought!

Her she is having the amazing new 46mm Nitron NTR dampers fitted and ‘Geoe’d’ last week!

More on those soon!

great looking exige pete

Smile as you drive!

Hi all, thanks for all the nice comments.
Hopefully I will start to get out more but is some what dependant on the little fella.
Although its no exige and its missing a super charger (Tim yours does look fantastic btw) I am more than happy with it and am loving every drive. Its mad how it can be a lazy GT yet comes alive when pushed!
The VSCC is out as an all day thing but may be able to do a couple of hours in the morning. If not then christmas sounds good! (and easter hopefully!)
Boothy, not done Blackpool in years but def need to catch up for a beer, I will bob over soon so you can see the Evora in the flesh, the pictures dont do it justice.
Glad I’m not the only one Pete!

Cheers Gav

Well done you boys, both awesome cars.

Your car looked mega Peter, one of the cleanest I’ve seen. It seemed to be going well too last week with you at the helm. The doc may have grounded you but you’re still flying fella :sunglasses:

Thx Ben!

It was great meeting up one and all at Donny! Your car is Sooo Cool mate! Wish I had grabbed a Pax ride last week!

Stripes rock too! :sunglasses:

Cheers Tim!

Need some stripes now!!!
