Following on from a previous thread asking what’s your job ,I thought it might be interesting to know our previous hobby interests either now or before the Lotus bug bit ??
I used to be into dogging but you can’t get three in a lotus so I gave it up and took up building rc cars, train sets and mountain bikes
haha
I am partial to a bit of golf
That and cars / track days etc is all i’ve really got time for.
Exiges.com & kids, like a movie too, Xbox gets turned on occasionally.
Never had you down for a golfer Sean !
I play a lot of squash… used to skydive but not jumped for a few years now… I’m expecting over the next year or so my primary hobby will be nappy changing
I love knitting, & watching TOWIE.
Cars, is there anything else?
bit of photography
Tried golf but was pretty hopeless at it. Been sea fishing since a young kid, but never bothered since getting the Lotus bug. This an model collecting is about it now
Squash, cycling, reading, drinking real ale, pub quizzes.
Not much time for anything else as Mrs Thommo has often observed while bent double in the garden.
I know that should have been “what was” your hobby but I seem to fit em all in
Does that mean outdoor shagging needs adding to your list??
Level 2 footy coach dominates most weekends. Running outdoor/gym and this I guess and golf only occasionally these days. Other then that it would be D…vorce!
I am found hacking around my golf course most Saturdays, and depending how energetic I feel and it’s not raining, I would head out to Epping Forest for a spot of MTB when I get home. Sunday is again resersved for MTB, but if it’s raining, we head out for a pub lunch instead
My hobby was motor sport before it became my job - still is! - including a lot of rallying in the late 70s. I also love music, and have enjoyed deep water sailing (ocean watchkeeper trained, but little experience) and (hill) walking. As a youth I was something of an athlete and worked hard at it so that I used to play rugby at a decent level and was 5th in the AAA junior indoor championships over 400m. These days I enjoy waking up every morning and am totally wrapped up in motor sport. I’d like to take up golf now, I think.
Cycling for me but having spent the last 7 days in the Majorcan mountains my legs are telling me Rob’s knitting may be a good idea :tired:
Given up the basket weaving then, Steve?
I was brought up with a fishing rod in one hand and a shotgun in the other. I was very active with both until about 6-7 yrs ago but dont get out much now unless there is a spare gun on a shoot that is looking to be filled. The old man still goes to Ireland and Swanage every year fishing off the boat (i really must go again soon). I go fly fishing with my mate every couple of months and I do a clay shoot every now and again. The appeal of going out and catching and killing wildlife has all but gone but its nice to know that I’ll never starve if needs really must…
I like a game of pool and built my own table a couple of years ago -
Does that mean outdoor shagging needs adding to your list??
