Well I finally did it

Has Elvis disappeared again ??

Lol! Elvis has left the building. Replaced by people with not enough money that really want it :unamused:

Had a guy today who has put a deposit on a standard car but as mine is the perfect spec and is what he is going to convert his car too would like to offer me £23k but I must say yes this week…

I said buy the standard car and see how much it costs you to get to my spec. In no rush to sell, just cba with time wasters.

What a pillock, but I suppose if you don’t ask you won’t get :frowning:

The car looks beautiful in the photos Boothy, is it not worth taking it to your local Lotus dealer on a sale or return to save the hassle of dealing with muppets?

You might be surprised at what a dealer would pay for it, especially as dealers are crying out for stock…

Booths mate,

Agree, ask a dealer! You may be surprised what they offer you considering the condition and spec of your car :sunglasses:

If you are serious about wanting an S1 contact WillB I reckon you would be able to get a good deal for one of his S1 Elises

I guess it’s possible, I know roughly what a dealer would give me for it and have a figure in mind of how much I need to free up. I may speak to cn about sale or return, their offer for the car a last year was bottom end though. At £26k I think it’s keen price wise looking at what’s about but vey few seem to be moving much.

I did a sale or return on my Sport190, worked really well as I needed rid of the car and marketing it was turning into a nightmare for me. I would of got more from a private sale but not much, I got in the end a few hundred over the minimum I asked for to get the deal done.

Well its still here, will probably give CN’s a call about Sale or return. I am not selling it to a dealer as I’ll get nosh all for it and tbh there is not much about I fancy swapping for so would rather wait for the right car.
I am bored of the time wasters now and leaving it sat on pistonheads for too long does not look great. I am quite surprised at the lack of serious interest.

Andy

scott walker has a couple of nice S1s. Do a dutch part ex & get Steph to fund the balance on the kitchen. its her fookin office after all.
:unamused:

I had a few time wasters too making silly offers, just have to wait for the right buyer and i m sure it will sells since is such a nice spec

S2 Exiges on sale seem to be hanging around a little while at the moment, and there is a pretty good selection out there. Could it be that the market is beginning to view the prices as a bit strong? :frowning:

I don’t think so really, only a month or so ago there were very few but I think most people held on till summer to sell. Some prices look a little strong to me but I think I pitched mine about right and there is still nothing like it in the price band, I was being told it was too cheap but I always felt it was on the money.
It’s just waiting for the right buyer and a private sale at this sort of price will always be difficult as you cannot offer finance.

Perhaps return it to more like standard?

Boothy…

I know you are feeling FLAT mate,

Just keep it!

You will not regret that decision!
