I’m James. I have an S2 Exige. I had an Elise S2 in 2003, for a few years, sold that bought a place and got a sensible car for a while then bought an Exige last April.

Bought an Exige S (07 plate) at the end of Oct & am loving it. Still have to pinch myself its mine on the driveway.
Its my daily driver & apart from sticking some Conti Sports on & storing the A048’s until Feb its out in all weathers. Before the Exige i was in an S2000 for 3 years which was an amazing car. Prior to that i’d done the Boxter thing but thankfully came to my senses & got rid of it quite quickly. Never got it as a sportscar.
I organise Euro hoons for the S2k crowd although now various marques are involved & have done 6 over the past 3 years with another 2 planned for this year inc taking the Exige via the Mille Miglia route to Rome & back in August.

NEARLY bought an S2K myself, LOVED the engine, but then I drove an S1 Elise around Silverstone on a track day gift voucher… the rest is history!

I’m Simon, and have had a KG S2 since June last year, with sports pack, LSD, harness, and a removable steering wheel.
Used as my daily drive, I have already clocked up 10k miles. The car is absolutely fantastic to drive. Very pleased with it so far, although I have had a rear link fail on the drivers side which was a little unexpected only 2 weeks into ownership!!!
just put a set of Goodyears GSD 3 Eagles on for the winter, and feel much more confident on the cooler wet roads that we have at present.
Next year, I want to get it onto a few tracks, and maybe a trip to the ring>

No worries.
Mine was factory fitted. I always wanted one of these when I had a westfield. Great to use, particularly when parking in public places where you can take the wheel away. Get loads of strange comments when you walk into a hotel with an overnight bag and a steering wheel!!

Not sure it happens to everyone, but does for me…
If you click the Exige.com logo to return to the home of the forums you get logged out. Clicking on Main Index logs you back in, so I just use that.
I don’t own an Exige; I’ve signed up to gain info’ on the car as a prospective buyer.
I currently drive a supercharged GTi-6 with significant suspension and braking modifications.
