Weight of Toyota S2 Exige please?

Ade

Mike Wilds has Anglesey “pencilled” in his diary - I want 1 hour with him. Should I count you in too?
Good idea … maybe we can get Sean Edwards along again as well. I’d be up for few hours this time …
Count me in too.

Lol at this thread - we’ve got at least three discussions going on here now.

i) Pete’s original thread
ii) Sean thinks soft is better than hard (damper thread)
iii) Get me some tuition at Anglesey thread

should we start talking about x factor to make it 4 topics lol

Yeah but lets be fair , who cares what an S2 weighs

Whats everyone having for lunch???

The S2 Exige weight is…

Dont care anymore!

S2 Elise is 810 kg.

BTW, the multi thread info about dampers, tuition, X-Factor and lunch is all very relevant…

especially Seans lunch!

We could always use all this info as the basis for the longest and most threads within a thread, thread! :sunglasses:

Anyone watch the Beeb last night?

I’d had a few scoops, & actually phoned in to vote for Giggsy

We both remember when you had a proper Exige, not an Elise Coupe

Pesky… That is DISGUSTING

Especially the amount of mustard on his burger

I must say the last time I saw two women pulling faces like that was when I showed them my hot dog

Me too, prompted by the youngest who’d had more than a few scoops by the sounds of it.
I was astounded when he won but delighted, nonetheless.

Sorry for the delay, aelord , back from the dead, and have just caught up on the swing this thread has taken. Nice burgers by the way.
My Nitrons are hofmanns on 500/700s both with helpers. I haven’t had them long enough to evaluate them. That said the journey back from Henley was no worse (I’d say better, but you would , wouldn’t you ,after spending a shed load). I wanted a track based car. Yes I go on jollies with the boys , but I have other cars I can take to the shops. There is going to be a compromise, make no mistake. If you just do road stuff then I’m not sure I’d advocate swapping away from the original Billies, if in good condition. But it’s your money.
So far I have not found the road ride too harsh. I’ve got the one way adjustables, set 10 F and 8R from hard. These I would suggest go harder by a couple of clicks for the track. I have a reasonable understanding of geometry but would be totally out of my depth on a more adjustable system… The main differences I’ve noticed are that the sterering is lighter and more positive and that I’m tram lining more (cambers increased)
