I guess that’s the R32 engine, not liking that. I always thought my R32 was a little lardy…kind of thing. Maybe different on a car weighing 1000kg (compared to 1600kg). There never seem to be any urgency about it…no drama…

But it’s the same old debate really, which Kingk & Scuffers locked horns on - surely the relevent comparative weights are for complete running cars ie incl induction/plumbing/coolant/driveshafts/oil etc not just different engines & gearboxes?

Yep true indeed, but with charged cooled hondas pretty commonplace now the plumbing should be pretty similar - I think a 5 speed Audi would be close on weight if not lighter ?
