Really wish I could be there for this.
Looks like a great bunch of lads going up and from what I hear Oulton is a great track.
Oh well, maybe next time, its the last day of my holidays on that day.
Just done Croft yesterday. Will probably try and book in on Monday. Are there still spaces left?
Your the guy with the 240r yes?? I hope there is a place left for you as I would like to dibs the first passenger ride if you can get on (cheeky I know, but hey, you have to ask )
Looks like we may be in for a treat then…

No probs if I can make it, Gav. I’ve only driven Oulton once though and that was in the Cortina. Is it the full International circuit or just the Fosters?
Cheers
Nick
Pass.
I have a feeling we will be on the full international circuit with Scalextric bend down at the bottom (I mean’t Shell really ). Although saying that, I have never done the short track so not really bothered either way tbh.
Have you tried booking it through the website?

Simon will definately be there and hopefully my Dad although he won’t know until Monday. If he comes too I will see if I can use my car too but they only had one place left today.

Don’t worry you’re in good company - I’ve been doing that for 5 years now
Don’t worry, experienced drivers are perfectly capable of disgracing themselves too… thinks back to a certain black flag at Croft .

I was thinking more along the lines of displaying my lack of talent in my flashy, new car.
Would be well up for some tips from any Oulton regulars though…

I hope that’s the case, apparently it’s an offence to drive round a roundabout more than 3 times. None of the kids seemed to mind though
Considering it was one of the the busiest trackdays I have ever been on during a week day, it didn’t turn out too badly. I got approx. 8x 15 minute sessions over the day and eventually mangaed to find a bit of space on the track so all was not lost. One of the outings was pretty good with about 4 of us blasting around toghether for a good 10 minutes (see, the S2 isn’t as slow as you would think ).
Nice to meet you all anyway and no doubt I will catch up with some of you again soon.
