Uprated oil pump

Titan Motorsport are making an uprated oil pump gear at the moment which will be sold via Eliseshop and Eliseparts etc when done.

EN24S, vapour blasted, super polished and around 340 grams was the last specification that I saw.

When is it coming? I have little time till the engine is getting done?

jbs - fantastic news…there are some good people at the factory

About two weeks I think

So my Circuitworx oil pump was indeed faulty, it would not rotate fully 360 degrees without dragging to a stall. The pump was taken apart and the lobes were checked, three of the lobes on the outer gear foul the inner. Monkey Wrench do not want anything to do with it, nothing and while they have the oil pump back now have blamed Track-Club or me for openong the oil pump and hole punching/indexing the gears. Absolute utter bollox, that had not been done and they didn’t even mention the tolerances just went straight to shifting the blame with bullshit and a final email of Circuitworx have gone, it’s there problem. They told me all customers had been notified and warranty gears had been exchanged. They clearly didn’t call everybody. I will never buy there again and would advise looking for an alternate if considering doing so

Good on yer for sharing this JF …

At the other end of the scale are companies like TDI , I recently had a slightly damaged item from them that wasn’t cheap …They exchanged it promptly and without quibble.
Good experience +1 TDI

Wrong place …

I can’t believe they had me send them only to tell me there is nothing they can do as my gripe should be with Circuitworx who no long exist, WTF is that all about, they could have mentioned that prior to me spending the money with UPS

Golden rule which has served me well is to use a credit card for such purposes … If owt goes wrong your money is took back off the dodgy retailer.

Fair Play Jonny. I like it when people name and shame for good reason. Sorry you have had so much hassle, at least your cam cover is a gay metallic pink colour

Well I had an email yesterday which looks as though after the initial spate of emails they want to get to the bottom of it, the bottom line is something is wrong with the gears, so they were sent back. They say we have tampered with them by indexing with a hole punch. I know I’m repeating myself but Track-Club were blown away to be accused of doing that and Monkey Wrench say its not the way they left them (in a fully built pump). This was really odd and took me by surprise. Never once, before Gary passed it on to Matt or even Matt in the next correspondence did they mention they had inspected or measured the lobes which I found disturbing as if they were looking to shift the blame and worm there way out of it. When I said that, Matt asked in a very abrupt reply what he should measure, something which I had told Gary in a previous email and that basically they were out of warranty which is with Circuitworx who no longer exist. So that left me asking why get me to send them back if there was nothing they could do and that everything from day one I have in writing. All of a sudden, they’d like to liaise with Track-Club and get this sorted and they assure me these gears were not from a faulty batch. Something is wrong with them, there was a faulty batch and Circuitworx no longer exist… To use an Americanism “go figure”.

If it gets sorted, I’ve asked for a credit to use at a later date when I buy another load of gear for the next engine, I’ll remove that picture and not post it else were, feel free to unquote your post for the time being buddy.

As requested JF.

Tar mate, see what happens lol

fingers crossed for you mate!

I’ve only used them once, for a long 6th gear. It arrived within a couple of days and was bang on. Sorry your experience hasn’t ,so far, been so good.
Frank usually has some kind words to say about MWR

I find most people I buy off are just great too, its the returning the item that’s part of a $2.5k order because its faulty that I’m having an issue with mate.

Clocked that. They do need to shape up.
Now, drink more wine and cheer the f+ck up.

Lol will do

  • don’t ‘upgrade’ to port … it ain’t clever
