I hesitate to mention this but I turned 60 today (almost as old as Mr P) and was delighted to be presented with this last night at my birthday bash by Mrs Thommo and my two boys:

Cool… Happy birthday
Wow, thats’a cracking cake! What a lovely thoughtful clan you have and an ace cakemaker to boot! Many happy returns Thommo, I hope the cake tastes good.
All the best,
Kurt
Fab, and congrats mate.
Congrats
Thats a seriously good job on the cake!
Thanks chaps,if there is any left I’ll bring the remains to Anglesey!
I must says that I was astounded by the detail of the car taken from a model sneaked out of the house to the cakemaker by Mrs T).
The rear wing suffered a bit in manhandling the cake back home too. It now has a single pillar support in the middle of the span. Will test in the wind tunnel tomorrow!
PS: Also my lads bought me a Ferrari 458 Italia driving experience at Elivington, or Blyton Park, or Bruntingthorpe.
Any thoughts on the venue I shd choose?
Many happy returns, that is a great cake.

I’d go for what is most convenient. Having said that I only know the circuit layout at Elvington. It’s on my weekend blat route and I quite often call in to watch for 15 mins if I see activity there. Usually consists of two relatively long straights with a couple of simple loops at the end to join them up.
Not been to either of the other two locations but imagine Bruntingthorpe to be very similar to Elvington. From video of Blyton Park it looks more twisty, although they may have longer runway areas they use for these type of events.
PS Cake looks fantastic - Happy Birthday!
Hi Steve, congrats mate. Ace cake. Did you get a new hat aswell?
Happy birthday!

Us pioneers were young when we bought our S1s. Funnily enough, they’ve kept us feeling young too…despite our physical appearances
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Steve.
