So the roof is off. Car feels really unsturdy, am taking it this normal? Not so keen with roof off feels to posery.

Love having the roof off my S2. Don’t knock it until you have tried it.
Nowt wrong with open top cars in principle (I’ve had loads!), but it just ain’t right to fook about with an Exige like that. IMHO they just look absolutely bloody horrible without a roof - all out of proportion, which is in stark contrast to the pleasing lines of the Exige as originally styled/designed.
