If your shift lights require an RPM signal you won’t get it from the dash as that is driven over CAN. You’ll have to pick it up from one of the coil packs. If you search for Shift-I you should get a diagram.

CAN to pulse box (scroll down)
That’s the one iv got pal, I need to pic up rpm wire .
Thanks a lot ill have a read now
That’s perfect thanks EVO, I just want to shag you lot sometimes hahaha
Iv just spent the last few hours running the cable from the engine to the dash, but my cable from the shift light isn’t long enough to reach the radio, all I need is a positive and ground from the cluster pic to follow
Can I use the purple and black from the back of the stack ??
Pin ‘A2’ is ground (black), Pin ‘A3’ is switched live (green)
Thanks Muu, are they numbered then ?? Not really looked at plug yet as run out of time
Nah, use the brown and white from the interior light,
Or the pink and the blue from the ECU
There must be a pos and neg at the back of stack to save running extra cables
I think my kids have had me reading too much Dr Seuss
There must be a pos and neg at the back of stack to save running extra cables
Use the purple and pink to form a link,
To the black and tan that powers the fan
That sounds strangely sexual.
Is it a rugby song?
As in “I want to be a snooker player”
“A SNOOKER player?”
“Yes, a snooker player”
“He’s potted the pink, he’s potted the pink,
Now he’s going for the brown”
That sounds strangely sexual.
Is it a rugby song?
More like this…which still makes me chuckle
All done guys, used the a2-a3 all works a treat thanks a lot lads
Hi guys, anyone know any good reads on wiring up oil temp and pressure gauge ??
Also what’s the highest temp I should let engine get to before pulling in on track
Worry more about gearbox oil temps … try to keep it under 110 degrees .
