Does anyone know of a UK company that offers (and fit) an aftermarket supercharger / turbo kit for the Egixe S2? loads stateside but want to get it done over here for obvious reasons.
Cheers.

Here is the latest answer I have had from Ragnorak in US for availability in UK:
Hello Maxime,
We do not currently have any distributor in France, but we are working with Hangar 111 in the UK for our products. I will update my web site with our list of dealers as they come online. Thank you for the inquiry and have a great day.

Also www.forcefed.com have an importer in UK as follows:
Hi Maxime. Happy new year.
Have you had a look at the website www.monzamotorsport.com
there is lots of stuff on there and look at the US manufacturers site linked
from our website. lots of articles on the site.
it could be fitted by a good diyer, but i honestly recommend we fit them, if
there are any problems we can sort it at our cost and we know the job is done
right ( no disrespect but we do it all the time and know what to look out
for.)
we do have a dyno available and we would be happy to do a dyno set up, not as
good as a road set up IMHO but it is a good start.
Price for the kit is 6500.
fitting would cost about 800.
performance is awsome. the car is really transformed.
we have many cars running in the US but none here yet, no problems found yet
in the US and they are well picky.
let me know if you need more info, i will send you some more press articles
seperate to this when i get a minute later.
Regards
Geoff

I would cross Brett off your list he has promised the kit a number of times and has never been able to deliver
There is a company in Germany doing a brilliant kit, it isn’t cheap but the good stuff never is !! I can’t remember it’s name but I will find out.
I know of this conversion because a friend of mine who lives out there looked into this and although he prefered the german tuning conversion he still purchased the Lotus variant purely down to the waranty and resale !!
I think where the kit differs from the factory one is in the intercooler, one is an air variant which is poorly ducted and the other is an excellent charge cooler system…
As i sad i will try and find out some more and post the details…
Both Red Motor sports and Komo Tec have these type of kits available
Reds I believe is the Swiss kit with a mark up plus they have another kit like the Lotus kit
Komos is a very conservative kit with out puts similar to the Exige S
The reason the charge cooler was used was down to packaging - it fits in the 111R broadens their market some what!
TTS-performance who converted my s1 are i believe doing a conversion on an s2 using the rotrex supercharger.
Not sure about cost but mine was 3800 for 360 bhp !!

And about the same for driveshafts to cope
Rob i seem to remember you having a driveshaft failiure with just your puny 200bhp
Yeah, Chris, but mine just squirted out the grease, & boogered the tripoid thingy. You’ve bloody well snapped the shaft on your’s, though
Who said power doesn’t corrupt?
I was going to ask how the engine’s fairing Chris. I was unsure how the standard Honda internals etc would hold up to over 300 bhp. What have you been advised?
Have you got a dyno printout of the car?
Cheers

I asked him the same question a few months ago.
He replied “It’s only an engine, & if it goes bang, so what, I’ll simply replace it with another for about 1K.”
Funnily enough, that’s exactly what Russ has just done
No need to wait (weeks/months) for an expert to fit you into their engine rebuilding schedule
The engines running and performing faultless Steve, however a couple of weeks ago i sheared a driveshaft clean in half.
Not sure at the moment if it was a faulty shaft or just too much power.
i would have thought the shaft would have failed on one of the cv joints rather than shearing clean in half.

Looking on the bright side - other than it flailing around and damaging something else, i would have thought a failure in the shaft itself was less messy to deal with than a failure at either end?
Other than the drive-shaft issue, this is good news. Are you intending replacing internals if it can’t cope with the extra power or just swapping for new standard internals?
How long have you been running it?
Sorry for the questions but if the standard kit can cope with 360bhp then that’s got to be very good news for all the Honda conversions reliability.
Steve i have done around 2500 mls since conversion and of that around 400 were on track.
Richard at tts has a civic type R with 350bhp running on standard internals and has covered 12,000mls without incident, he also drag races it regularly.

Now now you bitch you!!! lol
Hey guys my little sucker is putting a solid 225+ at the rear wheels without an intercooler in 100 deg S. Ca. heat
and so far 1400 mi…of hard canyon and mountain driving, this is no bull…

I have an S, i think the charge cooler is also better because the temperatures remain constant.
I notice on hot days the engine of my S definately looses its edge.
I think the Bemani kit is at the moment the best solution, its not cheap but its very well engineered. I had already ordered a std car and had planned to get the bemani conversion. Then the S came out and for half the price i could get half the extra power but with the “security” of it being a Lotus Factory model, and the chance to upgrade it in the future to 240,272 etc
If i am honest, were i to do it all again it would be a difficult decision between the factory car and the more powerful, better (in my opinion) Bemani.
Guys I paid $6500. US for 225rwh= 265hp at the flywheel 142ft lb. tourqe…It gets hot here 3/4 of the year
