And exactly how much did the rebuild of the internals cost? Pistons / rods / valves / oil pump etc? For the same money I suspect I would be getting my engine over 400 bhp.

I don’t have a toyota engine for starters (wouldn’t want want one) and with a rotrex supercharger and an internal rebuild on a honda K20a, in excess of 400bhp has already been done. As for your engine, I refer to the comments made by your associate Charlie on elisetalk.

If you call having issues with someone being unnecessarily rude and arrogant “disrupting a thread” then I am guilty as charged.
I happen to have an interest in things lotus related and have observed how you only give half the story. Harping on about 292 rwhp on a completely rebuilt engine has as much relevance to a UK spec exige S as my K20.
You have in a short space of time directly insulted a number of really decent people whom I happen to know personally. I do take exception to that, but try not do do so in the asinine fashion that you seem to enjoy. You give your fellow countrymen a bad name.
As you say, monkeys and muppets don’t mix, so you must already know the best course of action - go back from whence you came.
