Mines in Germany, bring yours over, we can correct the fact that yours is a bit lighter than it should be by running different amounts of fuel. Mines got A/C so we can correct for that aswell, along with any slight spec differences like touring or sports pack etc.
Combine it with a trip to the Ring and we can meet there.
Can’t help you in providing an S, but I would be very interested to see the results of this if you find one. You would expect an S to monster the NA car in acceleration at low and mid revs, but it would be very interesting to see what the ultimate performance difference is. Keep us posted.

I’m not sure and may be wrong, but I think David wants to compare standard ‘S’ and a standard NA car with his car that includes the updated ECU and is a bit lighter…
I’d be very interested in the results too - especially between a standard NA car and one with the updated ECU.
I would gladly offer to participate in this as well with my car (not quite standard Bemani), but sadly, Switzerland isn’t all that close. Even Nrburgring is pushing it, I feel.
Slight OT:
Bruh_la, ever fancied a trip down to the south part of the Black-Forrest? There are some nice roads down here, including the Schauinsland-Mt.Road and others. Might make for some nice gathering. I wouldn’t mind driving further up north as well - but feel the south area is a bit more interesting as far as driving roads go?
i would be up for that, as would a few of the lads here aswell. Thing is though, you can only really enjoy our cars on track, black forest is always a bit buisy…if you know some quiet roads, i am all ears
We are doing a trackday on wed 22 aug on the small course at Hockenheim, how about joining us.
Sounds a bit like the tests I used to do in 2nd gear going from 4000-8000 rpm in a single gear. Easy to do, accurate and not hampered by any gear changes that might influence the overal picture or performance of the engine.
Too bad I live too far away. Anything other than doing this tests with multiple cars on the same place, same time, same conditions would not yield all that accurate results…
My car is slighty quicker doing it from 1st gear even with a gear change i am 3/10 quicker.
Here are a few of my times using the ECU for a timer…try your times from a set speed holding it and then stomp on it, without the your added inirtia of accelerating into your starting point…these are some of my times…
a few road logs…
30-70 through gears 5.29s
30-50 in 2nd gear 1.65s
50-70 in 3rd gear 2.15s
70-80 in 3rd gear 1.05s
50-70 in 4th gear 2.71s
70-80 in 4th gear 1.46s
This is no bull shite… times and speed are loged from the ECU…full tank and a passenger, let’s see what you get
Thats a bit better than I imagined. Is that your car with the ECU reflash David, or one that is completely stock?
Evo he’s allready acelerating before he starts timing…that’s no way to judge performance…try it at a steady 30mph and then stab it, big difference, huge difference …school girls time their cars like that
