squashed Beetle designed by Hitler

Yup, I know what Clarkson is gonna say to this one…to be honest Porsche, its getting a bit boring.

Sorry, Its more Seloc material isn’t it…

Looks nice - top one that is

Is it me or are modern cars becoming mega colour sensitive ?

Yes. I showed a clubman something green yesterday and it got all embarassed! The blue thing just made it angry.

Is it me or did Porsche run out of ideas in 1963 [/quote]

EFA

No, it’s not just you. They did run out of ideas & that new model is a joke

I quite like the new rear lights, but the arse has got mighty big on it

How so? Why change a formula that clearly works?
If you but a 911 you know what you are buying and I quite like it tbh.

if it were a Lotus 911, it’d still be based on a 964 shell but would be on it’s 991st special edition.

Nothing wrong with a big arse !!!

I’m with you Chris, that’s mighty fine!!

Not if a load of Germans have been fiddling with it :astonished:

Back to the car. They’ve nicked the wheels off the Evora :astonished:

Then wondering what to do with it?

It’s so sad. Will somebody please tell Porsche that it’s time to change. Christ, they even made the off-roader look like a squashed Beetle. And a big, disproportionate, arse isn’t good on anything, not even a half naked woman.

I prefer the bottom one. The weight distribution, power to weight ratio and engine placement made sense here. After that it al went boncus. I drove a few 911’s but the giggly light front and really heavy rear is just not for me, as are the looks of it.

would like one of these in my dream garage

By formula I mean the fact they sell loads of the things, they could change it and get a bad reaction.
As for handling I have never driven one and hear what you are saying but the GT3RS seems to be a benchmark car.

911 and Cayman look more and more alike!

EFA

As I see it there are 5 types of Porsche:

  1. The 911: a proper Porsche and probably the only one that actually counts for anything.
  2. The Boxster:the Porsche you buy if you want a Porsche but can’t afford a 911.
  3. The Cayman: the Porsche you buy if you can’t afford a 911 but don’t want to show it by buying a Boxter.
4 The Cayenne: I’ve no idea! Possibly in case you find the Ssangyong Rhodius too pretty.
5 The Panamera: Because you dont want the kids to drop chocolate buttons in the back of your 911?

So true! Don’t know if the Cayenne was build for rich Chinese but its definitely working over here.
