I know there was a batch produced, with many subsequently returned with porosity issues. Did they all get scrapped or is there any out there available to buy as they look superb
Cheers

Still don’t think they’re as nice as the original Rimstocks!
I am fairly sure edp had issues with his and sent them back earlier this year.
I would go with the compomotives I had on my s2 elise but in s1 exige fitment. I think they are a bit heavier but they look the baws.
TMR’s… end of thread
Just need a pic to go with that George.
I have a set that I may be prepared to part with - no bad casting and no leaks.
(As I cant sell damn Rimstocks I can try another approach )
The polished lip is a bit too 80’s for my liking
Andy, got any pics, what condition and how much etc
(of course me actually wanting these wheels is dependant on buying a car i am lookign at on saturday)

This is the best I can do with photos at moment as Im a few miles away from them just now.
Condition is good, a few minor scratches that have been touched up - I’m looking for 1000 UKP for the set
You dont want any Rimstocks do you ??

Yes and include some 048’s

Stiil think Rimstocks look even better than the TMR’s, okay they’re maybe heavier but much nicer to look at…and no i’m not on commission from AndyD!

Rimstocks are a barsteward to clean - although you wouldn’t know that would you Jules, seeing as your car never moves!
I’ve now got a set of each of the Rimstocks & Speedline - can’t afford the TMRs though!
how much heavier are they?
Not as much as people would have you believe … I dunno you can feel the difference I guess a kilo or so each ? The Speedlines are quite heavy duty
The problem with the standard Rimstocks is getting a balance, the Speedlines I have only have a few weights on them while all my ( 8 ) Rimstocks have a tonne of weights on them …
Not helping my sales effort am I
Are you bringing back suitcases full of TMR’s by any chance Andy ?

As I have to carry them over my head when changing them I know you can definately tell the Speedlines are lighter.
I believe I can hear them come back down quicker when you drive them over cat-eyes, not that I’m claiming that I can make any performance benefit out of that.
Apparently they’re a derivative of a rally wheel, so should shouldn’t be too fagile. I’ve not heard of any breaking.

…so just imagine if you paint them snowy white
