Spa with Bookatrack

You should hear some of Russ’s, & Sean’s then!

The rest of the trip from the 'ring where I left you and way down to Greece, was simply astonishing.

My stops included: Hockenheim, Munich, Innsbruck, Lichtenstein, Davos, Fluelapass, Offenpass, Passo dello Stelvio, St. Moritz, Milan, and Maranello before boarding on the ship at Ancona for my final destination.

Doesn’t it sound like a hell of a trip with an Ohlins-armoured Cup 260 and a non-complaining wife as a passenger?

I’m going to upload some more pics on Flickr during the next days, and I’ll keep you posted!

Cheers,

Theo

I 've got some pics form there Marky!

They’ll be up soon, together with the rest!
Marky and I just got back at 6 this evening so will cut and post some laps of Spa and the Nordscheleife tomorrow.

The best bit for me on the whole trip was that the GP circuit was open to the puplic last night. 30 Euro got you a 20 minute session along with forty or so other nutters in all sorts of cars like production hot hatches, modified road rockets, bonafide race cars, vintage, Porsche GT3s, F430, 360’s and so on…IT WAS FECKIN MENTAL! No idea of line let alone any idea of the track layout it was crazy. Had it nailed by halfway through tho, so cool the car was awesome. Matty and Sophie from Book-a-Track, Theo the Greek (Cup260, he’s well quick), Marky and I got on for the second to last session. I think Matty had it right when he said he felt like he’d drank a full crate of Redbull and Theo’s first words were “OH MY GOD”. Marky has the only footage as my Cam ran out of battery…, it’s worth seeing and well worth doing. Having to learn a track from scratch in total mayhem is such a buzz…totally totally awesome!
I was wondering why my HDD Camera doesn’t record onboard and unfortunately learnt from Marky AFTER Spa and the Nrburgring GP circuit that I had to switch the recording to be made on the memory disk! :frowning:
So, the only thing I’ve got from Spa and the GP at the Ring is pictures!

For pictures from the GP and the whole Lotus at the Ring event that RSR Nrburg hosted there a couple of days after the bookatrack.com event at Spa, please look here, and here!

PS
Having learnt my video recording lesson well from MarkyB , here’s a video I caught during a lap at the Nordschleife! Enjoy!

:sunglasses: Theo man that’s good stuff, great images but what is that whinning noise…Oh it’s your superdoopercharger lol

we need people like you mate…truth be told

see you next month :sunglasses:

Theo, great to meet you.

Glad I could help with the camcorder! I learned my lesson about that last year, but Jonny then kindly lend me his card, then lost it

I was also impressed that you only bought the car a few days before letting it loose at Spa! Certainly was quick.

Comes second to “being down on power”

I was actually in the car when he had his racing injury, did actually sound painful! Must get rid of those pikey mirrors

The car run in perfectly at Spa!

I actually dynoed it a couple of days ago, and it produced 265.5hp at the hubs!
