Well that’s the first leg of our journey done, a mere 146 miles to pick up the car and trailer from the inlaws. Will load up and head for the ferry tomorrow and establish base camp for those tunnelling across.
Really looking forward to this, and have shamelessy stolen some of Mr Watts pics form the utterly brilliant 2011 trip.

Planning on leaving and going over to get Tim at about 9:30, J8 is about an hour and a bit from us so we should make 11:30 easy.
Car is washed, bag is packed, full tank of gas,…man’s ready
