Spa Double-Header 6&7th July 2015 with Bookatrack

Yeah once it gets fixed. We did think of making him an offer but need to sell the 340r first.

Cheers boys!

Do it :sunglasses: the 340R is a great car,…even with the wrong engine , hope it sells soon.

I was impressed with your M3 soaking up the punishment! It looked to be going really well.

The 340r engine is great, how can you not like 410bhp in a 700kg car. Everything sells at the right price, only need one buyer.

The M3 loved the abuse.

I think my DB9 will get swapped for a v12 vantage, a 911 GT3 or a Ferrari next year. You know we have to swap cars after every track day.

Indeed, I guess you’ve got a bit of time to work out which one you can lose the most money on

That did make me laugh but you have a point. Maybe I should try keeping a car, to be fair I’ve had the 340r 2 years now that must be a record.

Yeah its taken you ages to ruin that one

Only joshing lads, I think its awesome that every time I see you, you’ve typically acquired/shed another fantastic machine.

What’s wrong with ruining Lotuses

I’d like to echo this in every way…
We were so gutted for you Ben when we saw your sick car in the paddock on Monday,
Was surprised to see it on the Bat trailer at Zolder so guessed it must have found it’s way back on Tuesday?
Couple of great days on track, good to meet some new (to me) faces… More of you guys really should have stuck around for Zolder it’s a great Lotus circuit, maybe next year?
We did a session on the GP circuit at the ring in-between it was going to be the Nordscliffe but that rain arrived just as it was opening & we decided against it & took the soft option

Yeah Zolder looks fun. Next year eh!

Yeah I totally lost faith in the AA and so arranged with Jonny for them to repatriate the car. So my car went to Zolder without me! Once it’s played out with the AA I’ll start a separate thread…don’t want to discuss it on an open internet forum until it’s reached its conclusion.

Great to see you guys there. I was sitting up in the Grandstand at Eau Rouge watching you two blokes go hammering around together was a great sight :sunglasses: good that Steve made it too, did I see a pic of him out on circuit at Zolder?

So sorry Ben that your drive shaft problem appeared even before you got to the circuit.
I dont do passenger laps at all well, managing all of 2 laps with yasmar, 3 with Ishy, and kept my lunch down
Did the siting laps at Zolder, so that’s where you will have seen a pic of me.
Thoroughly enjoyed several laps of Nurburgring GP circuit. On a track that was drying all the time, some corners were predictable with grip, whilst others much less so. After the biblical rain, the Nordschleife would not have been a good idea

Zolder was great, just ideal for a Lotus…

Understand with regard to the AA thing will be interested to hear though once it’s played out as I guess it’s something that could happen to any of us.

We thoroughly enjoyed the time on the track at Spa it’s just incredible, Zolder carried on in a similar vein though Allan (Yasmar) did have a number of impressive spins
I’ll upload some photo’s of him spinning when I can, maybe tomorrow…

Johnny let Steve go out on the sighting laps which was good of him

Really looks like we missed a treat by not carrying on to the Ring and Zolder. Great that Jonny let you out for the sighting laps eh!

Yep, I doubt we’ll see the F1 cars troubling the ‘sausages’ at the top of Eau Rouge (ie. the jonnyfox line) in the same way.

Say what? Nipping the corner…

‘Nipping’?! Your line is far more ‘OH! Rouge’

Lol it was just plain wrong

Envious!!! Sounds fab, Bens bummer aside. Good to hear and see all the adventures. Who/how did you pax back Ben?

Your photos are as usual fabulous

Cheers Pierre. Tim (Muu) gave me a lift home (thanks again bud), he thankfully lives only 5-10mins from me.

I’m totally sold on the whole trips to foreign circuits. Next time I see Jonny Leroux I’ll ask him if he’s ever considered doing anything as far East as you guys,…maybe a Brno and Hungaroring trip :sunglasses:
