She's coming home!

Hoping to pick up Exige this week, fully restored to rude health. It’s been a long time

Great news! How long is that she’s been away? Got to be 3-4 months?!

Am curious to see the list of what’s been done. :sunglasses:

She arrived home from France on October25, five weeks after the breakdown and went to Ollie’s at Phoenix on November 8. Due to pressure of work and parts supply problems, work did not start immediately and the rebuild has had to be fitted in around Ollie’s other commitments.

Sadly, can’t make LiTP as otherwise engaged🙄but hope you and everyone has a great time. Hope current weather holds

Not got car back as yet but :crossed_fingers: it will be home tomorrow. Will unfortunately have to tax from tonight instead of July. I think it will be worth it after eight months’ absence.

Oops! Captain Cock-Up here . . . just got paperwork out and realised MoT ran out while Exige was buried in Ollie’s garage in October last. Might be a day or two before he can get it MoTd which might save me a month’s tax. What a saga this is becoming

Its never easy. Its the Lotus way.

As posted elsewhere:
Just as good as ever. Same noises, same thrills even at reduced revs. 500 miles, then an oil change and off we go.
