Not surprised you’re sold it already, cracking price. Hope it stays around on here!

Thanks Jake - I must admit, after seeing your track photos of your NA, I did think ‘am I really doing the right thing?!’ …and I’m still not sure, but life is short, so gotta try something if you think you’ll like it…

Got to go for it if you think it’s right… worst case is you go back, and can do some other things different, each new thing is an opportunity

Goodbye little car! I asked Ben if he’d let me know if he ever decides to sell it, so I get first refusal on buying it back, lol!

Welcome @B3N :smile::+1:

Welcome Ben. End of one era, start of another.

Welcome Ben.

Keep us updated with the car.

Will do. there wont be much going on yet as im just going to enjoy it for the summer. Already planned a trip upto Scotland for a few days. I enjoyed it in the boxster so this should be even more fun. Ive put a radio back in as im not quite hardcore enough to be without just yet

I would be happy to take the blanking plate off you if you have it?

Hi Andy think im going to keep it with the spares incase i change my mind at some point.
If you are struggling to find one give me a shout i have a mate that will be able to replicate it :+1:

Thanks Mr!

In 2 minds weather just to carry on with this thread or start a new one?

not alot of driving happening since the weather is so terrible so a perfect chance to get some maintenance out if the way.

quick oil change
new set of rear tyres going on this week (went for the r888r’s as ive had good experiences with them before on a fwd superchaged gti6 i had a few years back)
cleaned up some belled discs that came with the car ready to go back on as i like the look of them
sofened the damping a little on the nitrons as it was rather harsh on the yorkshire roads up here, may need another click or too but vastly improved over the bumpy stuff already.

trip planned upto scotland in a few weeks with my brother in his cayman gts, so should be a good excuse to give everything a nice shakedown.

even made space in the garage for my other speed machine

Keep this thread.

Your ride height looks low, watch the wheel arch limers and splitter over speed bumps.

I had set it to 120/120 and used it very successfully on the road for years - but yea, just be observant!

already come home once with the front plate hanging off. then its a whole different ball game getting it on the drive
