After getting spotted by @Fonzey the other day down at the Motorist and the car been rather filthy. ive spent some time today getting the majority of the swirls out with the polisher and given it a good lacing of polish and wax. Must say its scrubbed up pretty well for 19 years old.
Great chatting with you @Fonzey and what a lovely motor you’d brought down.

hoping to get down to the NYLOC meet tomorrow if the weather stays nice.

Weather looks good, hopefully have a natter and introduce you to the other fools Lotus owners.

Couldnt help but take JCT’s demonstrator there last year

Went for a good 200 miles round trip blast upto the west lakes this weekend to compete in a 24hr motorbike endurance race.

suprising what you can fit in the boot
2 sleeping bags
pillow
helmet
one piece leathers
boots
bag of spare clothes

finished 14th/40
and 4th in class

suffering now though

Sounds like fun! Where is the circuit?

Rowrah kart circuit. cracking little track to be honest

Thanks, I’ve often thought of going to a kart meeting there as it’s not all that far from me but never got round to it ( story of my life )

Even closer to me and I have never been either

I actually stopped and had a look over the fence one day when I was on a solo Exige run but it is pretty much out of the way.

Tim could walk there from his house :grinning:

hmmm somethings missing

quick peaks run a couple of weeks ba k with my brother in his cayman gts.

weather was set to be good but didnt turn out that way. chucking it down and the car was sliding about in a straight line whilst pushing on

smashed my numberplate coming down snake pass :man_facepalming:

stopped at ignition cafe for some brekkie, the exige looks so small

loving it so far 1700 miles or so into exige ownership

Feel your pain on the number plate destruction. I whacked mine a few days into ownership and cracked the splitter.

It’s now stuck on with Velcro to help give the splitter half a chance if it takes another hit :grimacing:

ive bobbed it back on with 3m velcro and lost it today

You can’t win

Another Velcro convert here.

Drove from Dover to Le Mans and back to the People’s Republic Of Yorkshire with out a plate after dislodging it leaving a hotel.

Never did find it…

peoples republic of yorkshire :laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

im stealing that.

the roads in yorkshire are pretty unforgiving thinking i may have to get it raised a tad as its ratger low.

scotland trip next week, will be going up through north yorks via buttertubs. be lucky if i have a splitter left by the time i get there to be honest.

fingers crossed for the weather to stay nice. but not too nice its been rather hot in there on a run out this eve

:grimacing:
