Ok so now that we plan to take the car to Anglesey on Easter weekend I thinks its time to start project “get car ready in time”

Got another small list that we want to do before hand after our test day at silverstone. Part of this list is…sort the heat issue with the charge cooler, fit a bigger rear spoiler, make and fit a bigger front splitter, canards and sill extensions. Fit another new battery isolator (I’m fussy so want one I 100% trust) reprogram the dash so the gear indicator is correctly setup, oh and turn the power taps up a bit more

Few jobs done tonight,

3rd aero catch mounting bracket fabricated and fitted as the stock latch broke at silverstone




Put the cat back in as got an mot booked for Monday so I can get out and data log the charge cooler to see where the issue is

And started fitting all the thermocouples to the air and water system ready to datalog.






Will continue to update as we fix, replace and produce the new parts

Not sure why pics haven’t appeared, will fix them later.

Pics look good. I need to do the isolator next year, just fitted the spare Cartek despite the last one seeming to be ok at the moment but may of had issues at the end of last year similar to when the first one went bad so an interim precaution. What are you fitting…

I’m looking at the Armtech also.

Yeah I looked at the armtech, but it’s the ‘on’ current of 1A that puts me off, whereas the cartek uses 0.03A and the brise 0.12A

Steer clear of the cartek :wink:

Other option is a ETA 921

Armtech is ok, but they have a habit of oxidising the contacts and then not working. And they’re definitely not waterproof.
