managed to get one of the rear uprights done today for a test fit. thankfully no problems and everything lines up as it should

just have the ball joint plinths to make then they can get fitted up properly. just got to program and make the other side then its onto the fronts.

does anyone know where i can get an 8 deg reamer in the uk? cant seem to find one anywhere for doing the ball joint tapers ?

295’s I think. Can’t remember it’s been so long!

If your gonna be trying hard mate, you should rose joint the outer ball joints on the rear anyway really.

That will also get around your reamer problem.

good idea sean (for my car anyway) reamer now sorted anyway, turned out not to be 8 degrees after all! correct ones coming tomorrow. want to produce them with the balljoint plinth as not everyones going to want a full race set up.

Bottom of the block has been machined for crank clearance, oil jets modified to miss crank, all bearing clearances gauged and triple checked. Crank is now in for good. Just gauging big end shells now so I know what to order.

Yes for a slightly better drive shaft angle, we just lopped a bit off of the corner of the gearbox.

With regards to making stuff available thats entirely up to Darren and TTS. They are far too busy to think about it at the moment, but when it’s finished and things have been tested and proven things might change.
