But will it work with the fuel in the UK because I heard it was different ?

Fear not my fine feathered friend, I know the tune will work perfectly, after all the R$D was done by monkeys…This is truly the best solution at 1/3 the compitions price…

but what is the price ?

Yes how much? and more details please.

a quote from Sector 111 : Please talk with Wayne @ Sinclaires.

I’ve been following these threads with great interest (much like most I guess) but to the uninitiated (for the n/a engine) what does this ECU remap actually give you: a) over the standard map; b) over the Lotus motorsport remap?

I’ve had a look at the Sector 111 dynos and they mean nothing to me. Can I have it in plain English (or American as i have an American to English dictionary )

its a SC install so from 189Bhp to 240Bhp

We are all waiting on the cost now!

Frank - was this kit tested with upgraded engine intervals?
I remember you saying that you swapped valves or something early on in your research?

Are we saying this s/c kit will run on stock configuration with a blower and ecu map?

but what is the price ?

Ok remember I’m just the wrench here and don’t sell this stuff…the Kit is $5,500 US and at the crurent exchange rate it’s a steal…

thats means in the UK it will be 5,500 plus fitting though.

so not a steel at that point.

why is it so expensive if there is no intercooler or ECU ?

the Tripoint kit with an ECU was only $4,500

and its the same parts with new brackets and no ECU to buy !!!

I don’t know what you want, the exchange rate is 2 to one that puts it at 2,500 UK…we all pay taxes, shipping and install, so where’s the beef ?..Hell take a trip to Disney Land pack a kit in your bags on your way home and still have change in your pocket…Kindly stop with the misinformation because I’m lossing stars at an alarming rate…Tri-Point $4,500 comes with an exide piggy back[cutting into engine harness], with your learning ECU will need a wide band A/F meter, retuning over and over again, who pays for that ?..this kit is a no brainer for those with brains
Post the “Real” cost of the other S/C kits…
Please stop with the misinformation…again down to one star…

why have i got no stars ?

it may be a good kit but its not cheap at $5,500 when not many parts are involved. infact thats expensive.

I can see an installed price at Sinclairs ( who never return emails) being about 6k uk

I was hoping for about 4k fitted :frowning:

No stars and you can see why…again misinformation it’s $5,500 “US” not “UK”…

The reason I had bent valves was due to poor design of the piston crowns of the Mahle pistons on my high boost engine build…This kit has been road tested with 20,000 miles and many track days. This kit is designed for stock internals, just install and drive away…

sweet I have 5 stars now :-p

Looks like I will have to import a kit and fit it myself then, I cannot see a UK installers being very cheap.

Did I read I will have to buy bigger injectors as we have small ones on our UK N/A’s

So what exactly are you getting for 5500 US dollars?

From what I gather: A blower (Eaton M62?) and an ECU tune?

  • Is install cost included in the price?
  • warranty?
  • for all cars (including MY06 and newer)?
  • how much power?

MrD06: Your welcome (about the stars). :sunglasses: Will I get some love too?

your paying for the map which Charlie does.

But the map will have a adaptable cam change
