I noted that Kenny’s car had made it onto the grid today so his team must have been busy since Tue.
It also looked like he managed to finish the race to take the flag somewhere in the middle of the pack. Who knows if there was any collateral damage this time…
His weekend’s performance in keeping with his overall ranking : 14th out of 17 in the league table, so basically bringing up the rear.
Had a look at the Ginetta website and you can see why it appears an attractive proposition for the aspiring chequebook racer with the headline of £18k for the lease of the car, all inclusive entry/fuel/tyres and 21 races/practice over 7 race weekends.
Then you add it up, VAT, someone to run the car for you, insurance, repair costs when you carelessly plough into a stranded elise etc etc, I reckon you’d have to budget £50k+,…oh and you have to give the car back at the end of the season!
