Rear wing replacement.

It looks the same as the old one?!?!?!?!

Looks great Jonny!

I’d certainly like to take a closer look sometime in the NY if that’s ok? I’ve been looking at various replacement wing options for months now! (and since spent my funds on Christmas presents! Sh*t!) :astonished:

That looks very nice indeedy.

About 1200 in real money.

Cheers guys I’m well pleased, shouldn’t be too taxing to fit  but price wise inc shipping you can almost double it buddy …tho I don’t want to talk about that :frowning:

The last one was Reverie Sean, engine cover mounted…nice but I always liked the one on Franks, prior to the new design. Weight is similar to the old wing also if slightly heavier (bigger) but still incredibly light…I’ll get it on the scales soon!

How much!!!

You’re madder than the Yankie canyon creeper

I’d love a new rear wing to replace the lardy mostly useless anchor on the back of mine but not for over 2k infact not for 1k, I just can’t see that amount of cash in a rear wing…

I doubt I’ve ever given that impression    then again coming from Mr 300.bhp

Anyhoo the shipping and Tax was the killer

I suppose it is all about where you like to put your money in your car, mine I suppose is just not in a carbon fibre rear wing…

Pfft call that a wing? THIS is a wing!

Looking at the ‘wheels’, that poor car is collapsing under that weight!

Wow. Your right Jonny is mader than a mad thing, I do like the carbon wings myself but like yourself Ade I just can’t bring myself to spend 1k on one, but then I do sqeek when I walk.
I think it would have to be forged wheels for me next but they are over a grand too so I might just put the money towards trackdays…

Boothy

p.s. Jonny, it does look PIMP though

I got a bargain third hand m/s wing, fourth hand if you include the race it won attached to Scuffer’s car and it was quite a healthy bargain  You just have to wait a bit until someone makes an even more bling wing that JF needs to upgrade to and you can get his one on the cheap

I must admit his wheels are looking soooo last year.

It will be available for collection at Donny under the Dunlop Bridge next year…

Sean knows the exact location

…it’s a drug :sunglasses:

5kg of beatiful Carbon Fibre  and I’m not done yet…

I need help

WHAT amount of CF!!!

I did not think you had replaced all the clams!

Jonny, you’re my hero!!!

Does the engine cover still open with the wing in place? That’s why I ended up with mine on the aero catches so I could completely remove.

Yep it opens fine as the wing is curved, although I haven’t fitted it proper yet there looks to be about an inch between both when the cover is raised.

Not feeling brave enough to drill the holes yet? It’s not a dremmel you know
