I know size isn’t every thing (now, now, pesky), but the rear wing on the S2 sucks somewhat. I’ve decided to go with a direct replacement using the original pickup points rather than cut holes in the clam (for now anyway). and what with me running in the production class for the mesc, I will need to revert back to the standard wing for my races. (it will be elidgable for the endurance mind )
It is the exact same design as the autobytel wing albeit has different mounting positions (obviously) and has 5 points for varying adjustment on the angle it attacks. It is also mounted much more securely than the original was.
not everyones cup of tea but I like it!! just need a front splitter and diff (maddog ).
I’m assuming this is the same wing as i had an email about from graham at plans today?I love it but 1100 odd is a bit steep for me!!(plus the missus will go you spent how much? on what!!!??)
Wow, I thought I didn’t like S2s…but your car is changing that…i think the wing looks like it should have been there in the first place…but was it really 1,100!
steve, there are 5 points of adjustment on the rear uprights to alter the angle at which the wing hits the air. steeper the angle the more down force it will generate (within a limit of course). I will undoubatbly need to sort out a better front splitter to balance it up.
I couldn’t believe the differance adjusting it makes either. At Snetterton I gained about 5mph at the end of the straight by lowering it. Mind you it also made the long right hander a bit scarey. lol

Sorry, should have made myself clearer - do you mean that there are 5 places the wing is attached that have to be unbolted to adjust it?
