What happened to yours Ian ? :frowning:

Not another alternator Ian ? [/quote]

Na (Mr Bean’s turn this time on the alternator), head gasket. Lots of smoke/steam (bit scary that!).

Wondering what to do. The stars may have aligned for a Honda, still pondering.

Ian

:frowning: Sorry to hear bud.

Have to say, I do love my Honda… I think the NA Honda suits the car perfectly.

Sorry to see that Marc, but standard valves and all that. Now put that proper engine in and get it mapped right you tart!!

SNAP!

Been a bit slow catching up with things, so many thanks to Mr P for his efforts. Track day No 3 for me and enjoying each one more than the last.
Some amazingly fast cars out there but I felt I was getting the hang of things after my tuition session. Not so much gear changing, less steering input and a whole lot smoother.
Great to meet up with everyone again although there are plenty of familiar names from here I have yet to speak to. Time to book another rack day I suppose.

Also just catching up, thanks to Pesky and Jonny for a terrific day - good job you put in
an early order with the weathermen!
It was good to finally put faces to names and catch up with friends.
I experimented late in the day, with a cheapo Muvi micro video camera mounted on the
grill of the Exige - quite pleased with results:

Just a bit of fine tuning required with mounting angle. The silver Exige I’m following is CliveE
but there are various other cars including Pesky, Benja and Edwards together towards the end
of the video - must have looked superb with 5 S1s all different colours, in line astern along the straight!

That’s great qualty video, Alex, from a diddy camera! :sunglasses:

Also, thanks for sorting out the “10th” stickers for us.

Joining in the praise for Rob and the weather and the circuit and the B&B .
Rob you are a genius.…and what a great bunch of friends the exiges.com members are .
Thought the circuit a real drivers challenge and look forward to returning next year for 2 days…afterall over 700 miles round trip warrents a good stay. :astonished:
Shame about my alternater probs which are now sorted…cant complain as this is the first DNF I have had in 6 years of trackdays …and they say Lotus is trouble…
Have fun guys and galls …look forward to the next one.
