Just got back from Oulton Park with LOT today, fantastic day, hope tomorrow is as good for you guys!
Only 38 cars booked on all day, never a queue to get out, bone dry track after 11am… Awesome!
Be careful at Druids in the morning, was very slippy at the second apex before it dried out…

Lets say we weren’t happy with the 30 min wait to get on track then 2 laps later red flag and another 30 min wait.
Never seen so many cars there and was WAY over subscribed with the paddock resembling Tesco carpark the day before Xmas.
I did 5 laps - Yes 5.
On the plus side there were some lovely cars -
Corsa, Metro, VW Beetle (without the flower on the dash though) but by noon was covered in gaffa tape after excursions.
Sorry to hear that Steve - not surprised though.

Easy Cack
First time I’ve attended a weekend TD with Easytrack and will deffo be the last - for driving at least. Great for p*ss taking though
The lime green corsa with the side exhaust and the plexiglass sliding side window was the highlight for me …until his mate tipped up in a ‘G’ reg metro GTI - what a car 
GTI lasted around 3 laps before it broke down and caused one of 4 red flags in the afternoon
Deffo the worst ET day I’ve attended but I wonder how much of this was because it was on a Saturday. I’ve done weekday events with ET and they’ve been OK - not BAT OK but bearable
They’d said the overbooking was an error which may have been the case but someone mentioned a hundred cars had been booked on when the OP on track limit is 38 - the queing was the worst I’d seen. They even resorted to throwing red flags to clear the queue - so much for open pit lane !!!
What is the general opinion on weekend TD’s ???
Most of my trackdays are weekends - days become very expensive if you factor in a “lost” days pay!

I will upload pictures of these amazing bits of kit tomorrow.
The plexiglass sliding window is now at the top of my xmas wish list with an otherwise bog standard Golf also having them fitted. Perfect for the MacDonalds drive thru.
That’s “an error” they’ve been having at Oulton since 2001 Helps the cashflow though!
