Very cool dave. Looking forwrd to seeing it this weekend, should be a good one.

Right here we go again…
Car was brilliant this last year but the need to carry on with the changes is here again!!
So what are the plans

Safety first
Rollcage (Already here)
Harness
poss fire ext

Get rid of some Weight
Remove window lift mechanisms
Fit Plastic side windows (already here)
Small battery

I want to do
315mm discs and bigger floating bells up front (Already here)
308mm with floating bells from front to rear
Fit two pots on rear
install new pads all round (PF’s)(Already here)
Fit Track-club oil pump to engine
Install removable Momo Tuner steering wheel (as fitted to V6 Cup) Already here
Pair of nice light weight seats
Sticky new tyres (AKA Slicks)
Return dampers to Nitron for service and update (Not needed as they have only done 3 trackdays but the updates since I bought these will be very worthwhile apparently)
Poss replace the two front oil coolers with something lighter (laminove) and at the same time replace the triple pass 45mm pro-alloy rad with my own 50mm version.

Don’t want to do
Reduce calorific intake of driver

I may also remove the carbon large scoop roof and replace with a standard one, as I would like to improve the aerodynamics and as the car is charge cooled I don’t need the large scoop.

Then add some aero for a bit of down force, I have a few ideas that the proff has put into my head about a sort of DRS system but we will have to wait and see if that happens!!

I will add some piccies as things progress, this modding lark never finishes does it??

Re safety first

Where do you plan to fit the fire exit?

Does the 50mm rad fit with air con and chargecooler rad ( yes I know you don’t have air con!)

Really not sure - Sorry
But why would you want too?
Thought you where having a pro-alloy one…

Plan ā€˜A’ is to have the Pro Alloy one, which is the 45mm triple pass, but , as I’m there, if there’s something more efficient, it would be silly not to at least consider it.
