NLC - A Very Pleasant Day

Karen & I spent a very enjoyable day at Shelsley Walsh today, even the weather behaved and the S1 had an outing to boot;

Apparently these ones are quicker to 100 than the current F1 cars!

Is the Exige one of the Oz ones racing in Tasmania?

I’m a big fan of hill-climbing and enjoyed “a very pleasant day” myself at Shelsley a couple of years ago. Planning a visit to Prescott in the next few weeks for the championship event, having already been to Barbon Manor and Harewood this year

Let us know adout Prescott - may be up for a drive out myself.

If your going over let me know, as I’d be up for a run out.
The exige has only been out the garage three times this year :frowning:

Re: Prescott: I’m planning a trip down as I’m a big fan of hill-climbing. Went to Shelsley a couple of years ago and have already this year been to Barbon Manor (quite near me) and Harewood.
Pesky also expressed an interest in a trip, so let’s hope we can meet up.
Not sure if I’m going to do both days as yet as Donington Historics are on and might pop in there on the Sat.

Both Prescott & Shelsley Walsh are fantastic venues :sunglasses:

Unfortunately I won’t be able to make the next Prescott event, as my car is being serviced that weekend by Martin & Steve, prior to a 12 day Euro Trip later in the month.

You’ve already missed the biggest Prescott meeting of the year… VSCC Prescott Video

No worries Con

A couple of pics for you;

Hi, trip is definitely on for me now. Planning to go to Donington Historics on Saturday before travelling down that night for a B&B overnight before Prescott on the Sunday. Anybody fancy meeting up at or near Prescott?

Thommo

I may well be at Donny on Saturday (with Chevron too), whilst the mota is being serviced by the Edwards Boyz.

I’ve heard that the grids for this meeting are a bit thin. Masters did cancel their Mallory meeting recently because of a lack of entries - such a shame.

I’ve also heard, today, that the local council have refused permission for any events in September due to Donington running too many noisy days this year. At least one meeting is rumoured to be cancelled so check before travelling to Donny this weekend chaps.

I’ll update if I hear anything more definite.
