New power upgrade for the exige S
Sounds interesting, I already have a 240.

So taking it to 260 should be slightly cheaper than that I guess, since I already have the injectors but not sure on the fuel pump ??
Speak to Paul and see what he says but yes you won’t need the injectors so will be cheaper

Tim, I think you’ll find that its very good wise, as for the difference’s the factory can flash the ECU but currently with CN’s its a new ecu.
What you get is a new ECU, new injectors (if a 220) and an uprated fuel pump which involves removing the fuel tank to fit, all in the cost is 1495.
CN’s are doing a very good rate on the labour in order to make the Kit compete in the market place. The Map is the 255cup map for cars with white dials, its quite possible that if you really wanted the 260 map it could be done for the 500 that Lotus currently charge. Guys with the Black dials will need to speak to Paul as I am not sure if thats the 255 or 260 map.
As I say its best to have a chat with Paul as he has sorted everything and knows all about it.

As for tintercoolers, best to open up the mail slot anyway imho and if you can get a Forge fitted (cheaper than a cup roof by a long way).

The uprated fuel pump is essential for the 260/255.

Or 1,500 with a good instructor and be even quicker

Lotus will be ‘going public’ with this across the dealer network in very short order.

Well if thats the case I think its a shame after all the effort Paul has put into it. Also I think prices will vary due to the different labour charges applied as I know CN’s are not charging alot at all due to the deal they have, cost up injectors an ecu and a fuel pump from Lotus and you will see what I mean.

Boothy

Not if you take out the usual Lotus mark up!

Thats where I keep spending my money  and probably will be for some time :frowning:

Not sure I understand? I know what Lotus charge the dealers for injectors, ecus and fuel pumps and the dealer has to make some money on top. As I said time will tell.

Oh and you can thank me later

Not on the straights

Errr entry/exit speed

Only if you do as you are told, hey Andy?

well i’m not going flat now, my cars a beast

Well done

I got man flu but just seen this thread and its made me feel a lil bit better , so 240 owners can have 260hp with a Lotus blessing for less than 1500 , have i got that right or have i had to many Lemsips ?

I’m not convinced by the “official Lotus” blessing, it does not say that on the site and this is a kit done by a dealer, I doubt the risk is far different depending on what fails :frowning:

Lotus know about the kit and have said its ok to sell, Its using
only official lotus parts and warranty will not be a problem.
Its not a Lotus kit though it was set up and tested by CN’s and thus slghtly confusing how other dealers are suggesting they will have it in a couple of weeks.

I spoke to Paul today, they don’t have the software at the moment to do the 240 - 260 upgrade but it’s coming apparently? No idea on cost but the bigger injectors aren’t necessary, fuel pump is, I’m fancying it’s under a grand to get it done? Hopefully!!!

If you already have a 240, going to 260 is…

Factory prices:-

Fuel pump fitting 315
Re-flash ‘labour’ 35
Fuel pump 220
Fuel pump cap 50
260 ECU 495

all price need vat added.

I know i won’t be able to resist doing this.

Sounds great , so do you need a new 260 ECU if you re-flash the the 240 one ?
