The last pic is of the wide scoops just taped on that i will use when I get them painted .
The shroud + tubes + heat shield + duct + side scoops and side ducts are from RLS
The intercooler is a bespoke made F1 quality core that I got though MMG , if you look at the core you can see the quality.
Oh and the catchcans are from sector111.

Catch cans??? I haven’t looked at this.
I’m going to hang on for a couple of months for the exhaust as I suspect there will be some news on a fully programmable ECU from TDI/Randy and as the RR showed, there’s no gains to be made sticking fancy primaries onto a standard car.
The catchcans stop the oil that’s blown out the engine by forced induction , oil can be blown into the intake and coat the intercooler pipes and the intercooler and even back into the engine , oil coating the intercooler will also attract dust and stuff , catchcans swirl the air around a pot and collect the oil .
My old pipes and intercooler had a lot of oil in them .
I went for the sector111 ones because they bolt on the engine and move with it , the other makes bolt on the body.
No probs mate ,TBH I’m pleased it’s not just me that’s bonkers!

i will have the smaller 2.9 pulley in the new year along with the larger pump and injectors , the car will go back on sincs dyno for a remap again.
i have the data from last time with the standard intercooler .

Do you know if the IC shroud fits the Forge IC?
Do the side ducts fits the standard Lotus side scoops?
The side scoops from RLS fit the exige standard side pods

A definate must have
loads of oil on the intercooler and pipes when I took mine off and replaced with RLS stuff
Also went for the Sector 111 catch cans. Very nive piece of kit
I was very surprised how quickly they got oil in them as well, certainly an item to check every few trackdays and empty.
