Forgot to mention as well. There are a few post’s kicking around the board at the mo regarding noise issues on track. The exhaust can be supplied with ‘dB killers’ which knock down the noise level, these are two tubes that slip inside the exhaust outlets and are help in place with circlips, so it’s a quick fix if you get pulled on a track day. To be honest though I don’t think there will be any noise issue’s. Will try to remember to take some photo’s of the ‘dB killers’ and post this evening.

Thanks John, I will contact BlueFlame. Don’t suppose you have any DB figures, do you think it will be Bedford friendly?
Cheers

Noise wise the Lotus figures for the standard exhaust are 98 dB(A) at 5850 rpm the Blue Flame was hovering at 98 to 99 dB(A) at 5850 ish rpm. Bedford quote their limit for a static check at 101dB(A). So no worries there. Sorry I don’t have a drive by noise figure for the zorst, could poss enlist MrPesky over the weekend to hold my noise meter whilst I drive by. Oh and I forgot to take some pictures of the dB ‘killers’
John
I also enjoyed listening to it, whilst we were going through the tunnels on A55, on the journey to/from Anglesey

Yes, got to agree the sound of 2 Exiges and an Elise ripping through the tunnels made my skin tingle.

Here are some pics of the ‘dB killers’ but I think they are going to be an overkill I can’t honestly see me needing to fit them.

Naaa, the TV and playstation are in the opposite corner of the garage
John
Can you connect the console to the car, so as to have realistic engine effects, or is your extractor fan not up to that ??
If he plugs in the extractor, he’ll have to unplug the beer fridge… not recommended
It was me at Anglesey. It sounds awesome, it will probably be my next upgrade. Sounds much better than my stage 1.

the finishing on yer Tail pipe is excellent…
How does it actually fit on ?
Rox
The ends are just welded onto the tailpipes, suppose if you got sick of them you could hack them off flush with the undertray then it would look like the Stage 2 lotus one. The tailpipe section clamps to the outlet of the silencer box so it’s easy for Blueflame to make the outlet whatever shape the customer wants, straight cut, slash cut, oval whatever. See pic below
