It is very ridged fore and aft with enough give into the design to allow for a side impact if shit where to happen…I would rather replace a shifter than lose my leg… There is X bracing in the lower section you can’t see in the photo…
Thanks, I took a Porsche B&M short shifter and built the scaffolding to get it in the proper position. It took a little R&D and a sourcing better cables to give it the direct feel it should have…I had to also change the gearbox linkage to a push/pull vs pull/push…

Once dialled in though, its pretty spot on.

So it was 86*f and crystal here in LA. so it was a perfect day to put a few break in miles on the new engine and test out the new short shifter… :grin:

I’ve been on track a few times when it was just SC but I find it boring going around and around the same corners. On track I find myself goin faster and faster all the while wondering what the end result will look like when I/it fucks up :astonished: …
I bought a sports car not a wanna be race car. Hell it’s still the fastest Exige at Willow Springs Raceway and that was three years ago… :whistle:

I think if you guys had the roads and weather I have here you would change your minds…135 mi. drive and not one Chp on the road and no speed cameras…
