NA Build....

My S1 was 780kgs when last weighed.

Dave, it doesn’t count until all the bits are on!

Currently my S1 must be about 400kgs

I bet mine is less than that!!

Well stick an engine, gearbox, & seats in it, & bolt the wheels on!

Erm, mine needs all of those too…, plus a subframe, and full body

Well the HUGE wheels were on it when I last saw it.

Images are a bit crappy, I’ll take some better ones at the w/e, all done but the cheater seals… Reverie doors cards fitted.

The matt/glossy combination looks awesome!

shhhhwwwwwing

The carbon king rocks !

Looking good

Yea there was a tread on Lotus Talk or somewhere when I was having some troubles with a second hand mechanism (now swapped, all good) with that combo, I thought it looked good too.

Cheers Fellas

I have a question, you know the bit of interior that holds the window vents where the dash meets the windscreen, same material all the way down to the sill. Can it be painted?

Jonny i think that part is alredy coated (similar to how the S1 dash was done). Can’t remember the name of the product though.

Paint will add unnecessary weight though. Swap the bits for carbon

What door cards in the end?

Another vote for swapping the dash c panel for carbon:

Reverie Ade, I love the quality of Simons stuff.

Thanks for the picture btw, where is that from? I planned to get the sill covers and speaker jobby’s from eliseshop but couldn’t find that. As the car is changing colour I plan to paint all those bits the same colour as the rocker cover including the centre fan control console and that top bit. The centre fan control console and that top piece were the bits I hadn’t found in Carbon. Cheers

Jonny, it’s a matt grey plasticoat spray, can’t remember the name but I have a tin in the garage. When fitting the windscreen to Kermit we got screen bond on the dash, tried to wipe it off and took the damn paint off the surface  had to remove the dash and repaint it.

If I can find the tin then I’ll send it to you.

Only place I know to get the sill covers and speaker panels is LM Coarse I plan on ordering the speaker panels if I can find where to get the dash top from as that would look awesome
